‼️ DO NOT TRUST THE HIGH RATING ‼️

This place is way, way, way too expensive. The prices are ridiculous—at least 3 times what the food is actually worth.
We spent 150 BOB for two people and only got:
1. One tiny bowl of Prawn Biryani (barely any prawns and they were NOT fresh).
2. One small curry and a small portion of white rice.
For 150 BOB, you can have a fine dining experience in Bolivia. Here, you just get ripped off.

Why is the rating so high?
The owner explicitly asked us to leave a good review on Google Maps right after we paid. That explains the inflated score. The food is mediocre, the portions are tiny, and it is a total tourist trap.

A true hole-in-the-wall spot with solid food that really hits the spot after weeks of backpacking through South America. Prices are reasonable, especially with the set-menu promos advertised outside. We enjoyed it enough to come back twice while we were here.

The service and ambiance could use some improvement. Adding background music and being a bit more attentive when customers first enter and during checkout would go a long way. Offering a chai or a small complimentary snack could also encourage guests to leave a review and enhance the overall experience. Good luck ✌

It was a pleasant surprise to find an Indian restaurant in the heart of La Paz and more so when i was treated to the dishes here. It was awesome and very much like what the food tasted in India. The service was quick and food was affordable and tasty. Very much recommended for people intending to taste Indian food in La Paz.

Looks of the place are not the greatest, but the food is authentic Indian food. It was really, really good!
And the price is unbeatable for the type of food.

If you like authentic home-cooked Indian meals, then this would be the best spot in La Paz. The owner was so nice and very accommodating.

A very nice and quiet place. It was very nice to have desi ghar ka khana taste after travelling South America for over a month. Highly recommend!

Great food, service, at a great price! The owners and staff are friendly and make your experience special. We will visit again before we leave La Paz.

I have read many of the negative reviews, and while perspective and experience can differ from person to person, I cannot fathom many of their sentiments. First, one review wrote the rating is artificially inflated. Very doubtful. People have a bad experience, they are going to share that bad experience. Another writes they travel a lot, using that as a point to weigh their bad experience as more relevant. Well, I can attest to traveling to over 70 countries, and having eaten Indian food in countless places, not even including my mother-in-law’s fabulous cooking. This Indian cooking was fantastic, with large portions, at a very reasonable price, comparing it to what we saw in Bogota. Another review seems to be pushing readers to another Indian restaurant nearby.

The atmosphere was the “weakest” aspect of our experience. The others were all 5-star ratings.

Not obvious to find tucked away inside the hotel entrance. 40 bs for the menu del día. Good value.

I stumbled across this Indian restaurant while travelling, and it turned out to be one of the most memorable meals of the trip. The curries were beautifully authentic and full of flavour and the nann bread was great.

After weeks of local cuisine, this place was a refreshing and genuinely delicious change of pace. If you’re craving something different and satisfying, this spot is absolutely worth a visit.
