Believe it or not, what you’re looking at here is £12.32 worth of food. Perhaps the stalest bread in Sheffield with a clearly cooked from frozen patty and a miserable cheese sliced sandwiched in between. For £5.82 I’m positive you’d get a cheaper and tastier burger from any burger van in the country, let alone from a takeaway. Next, you have a fork-sized excuse of a battered cod, utterly flavourless, to set you back another £6.50. After seeing the reviews this place has on Google and Uber I can’t see this as being anything other than a scam. I’d sooner rummage through bins than order from here again.

Excellent food, reasonably priced. Used this establishment many, many times. Friendly staff. Please note this is a takeaway not a restaurant therefore additional request for further info is irrelevant, ie waiting times for a table or how many people!!

We had a great chippy tea from NCOTB the other night. Battered vegetarian sausage really hit the spot, as did the vegetarian nuggets! There always so friendly too which makes going in even nicer

£13 for cod, chips and mushy peas- expensive for the actual quality you’d expect.
The batter was soggy and the fish itself was a bit dry and rubbery. I think it’s been sat out for the whole day.
Chips were also soggy and mushy.

I like the fish & chips here as long as they are frying separately from other foods!
I wish the staff to be careful not to touch the money & the food with the hand..
Also, to find out a way to let the smoke of cooking to go away from the shop.. it’s fine unless you’ve got an asthma ..
Many thanks

Very friendly staff. This is a takeaway fish and chip shop. I was on holiday, so I had no knowledge of good takeaways in Sheffield. Upon entering the shop,we were greeted by the very friendly staff. Our order was cooked fresh. However, there was fish in the warming cabinet. The portions were very good, and the fish and chips were cooked to perfection. The fish was thick, white, and flaky. It was an ample portion for anyone. I can honestly say that I was impressed. Unfortunately for me,It may be quite a while before I visit again as I was on holiday as I said but would not hesitate to go here again. Absolutely delicious fish and chips

Terrible old cardboard-like fish and greasy slimy chips. Left a nasty taste in our mouths after we’d finished eating.

The fish and chips are pretty good aswell as tasty. But hospitality and service is a bit questionable and blunt. If your local and been going there for a 100 years then you’ll be greeted by a warm friendly face. But if its your first or third time there, the staff can be rather blunt and want nothing to do with you. My advice just treat everyone the same, old or new.
