Felt compelled to write a review after seeing all the negative ones.

Ever since my family and I moved to Demarest New China Wok has been our go-to guilty pleasure for Chinese takeout. The other 1 star reviews are either bogus or they are trolling. Food is always consistent and good, never had an issue.

Disappointing ! Fried rice was one note did not appeared to be fried and rice was less than half container. Most of container was big chunks of veggies but whole dish lacked any depth of flavor. Scallop dish lack flavor and was bland. The color of both dishes was very similar. No finesse, very mechanical preparation.

Moved to the area recently and this is the 3rd Chinese spot that I’ve tried and by far the best. The portions are good and the price is very reasonable. The food is flavorful and tasty and I especially love the fact that it seems as if they use fresh produce and oil. The wings are golden and does not have that old oil taste like many other restaurants.

Everything was bad. The chicken was undercooked and the prices are high. We paid $46 dollars for 2 people and ended up throwing it out. Not even the fortunes were good…

My friends and I went there last night to order some food. The lady with no teeth wouldn’t answer my friend’s question. Funny thing is that we gave her the benefit of doubt, thinking that she didn’t hear us. No! that wasn’t the case. We were right in-front of her but she just ignored us… we were dumb found. what is wrong with the toothless lady? She was super rude. Regardless of the food quality, I wouldn’t support this restaurant. Soooo unprofessional.

The food is very good. Had beef chow fun, general Tao’s chicken, shrimp fried rice, egg drop and wonton soup. All every tasty. This is my go to for Chinese food for lunch.

Fast no frills, always gets it exactly how you expect American Chinese food to be. Kind hearted owners always let my kids grab free drinks.

Paid $46 for a large pork fried rice, broccoli in garlic sauce, and General Tao’s chicken. Is this right? Three items for $46, and one of them was just rice! It was not worth $46!
