I ordered sweet and sour chicken with chicken Chowmein which taste like it was reheated and got cold with in 15 minutes in the bag. Also jumbo prawns that taste old and chewy. The service was okay. The young lady was pleasant but the guy was rude, basically through me my bag. I want eat there again. Maybe it was a end of the night thing. Im a truck driver trying to get my dinner which I had wanted Chinese all day and this happen. Wasted money

This was the worst experience I’ve had with this establishment. I usually order from here through delivery and the food is always good, but when I decided to come in person, it was completely different. The portions were much smaller, the rice was hard, and the beef and broccoli were watery instead of having that nice thick sauce I usually get. I also stood in front of two employees for about four minutes before anyone said anything to me. Maybe I just came on the wrong day, but I was very disappointed. If this is how loyal customers are treated, I don’t want to be one.

Tonight we tried New China Two, one of two locations in the Redding area. I’m gonna Segway for a bit and say, since my family and I relocated to Redding 8 months ago we’ve been very excited about trying new food spots, preferably local mom and pops in the area and New China Two has really pushed the bar high for me personally. I’ll say that their service is exceptional!! Top notch! You feel very appreciated as a paying customer and besides that they seem to carry a sense of pride for the food they serve and for good reason, it was incredible! And I couldn’t believe the price for what we received. We pay more for a family of four for some local fast food chains than we did for New China and the food was far superior. The family and are pretty excited to have had this and it’s right around the corner from home, which means take out!
You design peeps will enjoy a very China inspired decor which was pretty cool with calming Chinese music in the background, great ambience!
All in all, everything was better then expected and I highly recommend New China two, even if you’re traveling along I-5 and you get the Chinese food craving, do you’re self a solid and swing by and give em a try! Happy eating!

DO NOT GO!!! I arrived and they were busy, I was politely asked if I could wait. I waited for the server to seat us. Two other customers came in after us. The server took care of a pushy customer before us and then skipped us again completely. No class for the other two customers that came in after us but this was not customer service. There are a lot of places to eat in Redding and I will choose to eat where I am valued.

Not sure if they got a new cook or what but I just ordered pickup and my friend picked it up we paid $70 for one container of pot stickers 2 chow mein and two orange chicken. The food was top tier the nastiest food I’ve ever had. Everything even the pot stickers were soggy and undercooked. I’m also pregnant I’m literally gagging thinking about the undercooked orange chicken -1000 would not recommend.
