I’ve never been there. Until this year 2026. My favorite Chinese restaurant is further west, but I didn’t want to drive more. I learned they have 2 menus, one to go and one to dine in. So if I wanted to order something from the “to go” menu, i couldn’t do that. I had to order from the dine in menu. That’s strange, if I ordered a number 3 meal at any restaurant, I’m pretty sure I could eat it inside, not have a separate menu. But I digress.

If you do order for an example, the orange chicken from the to go menu, it comes with either white rice or fried rice. I wasn’t asked, I was given fried rice which good for me, it’s what I wanted. So please ask fried rice or white. I’m not a fan of assumptions. If you do choose fried rice you may be disappointed because it’s not shrimp fried rice. Perhaps if you request it they may accommodate you. The orange chicken was good, tasty. The eggroll can be improved, it wasn’t delicious. Finally the sweet and sour sauce was homemade and it was ok. I prefer the individually packets other Chinese restaurants have. This review is my opinion only and not written down to harm the business in any way. I take the time to write them because they’re informative and helpful. Please try them for yourself and remember ask questions. Enjoy

Love this spot!
Grew up in the neighborhood and it’s been a go to for us for some time!
We get the chicken chop suey, combo lo mein, mushroom or ham egg foo young. The egg rolls are good and the wonton soup is a fave when I’m sick!
I think the prices are solid given the portion sizes. Definitely give this place a try if you’re thinkin about it !

I did not want to write this review. I just got home with my food. I’m just really upset…..
My husband got beef fried rice and he said that the beef was really chewy. He started tastes of good.He would give it a six out of ten.
Me on the other hand i’m really upset. My eight roll tasted like it was sitting out like freezer burnt
My broccoli and shrimp were really good
The Fried Rice was absolutely disgusting. It tastes like they’ve had it sitting out for days like it has to be two or three days old, it was not fresh in the peas in it were old, they were like old. They were not like peas that you should be eating…… I’m so upset.I really wanted to give this place a try.I heard great reviews about it.But then bam, forty dollars later, and i’m really upset at my house.I want to call them so bad.But what’s the point… I don’t even want my money back.I don’t even want to eat there again. But I wanna make people be aware that that fried rice that they gave me literally had to have been a couple days old.You could taste how it tasted funny. I’m just really upset. I had to drive pretty far to go there, so it’s not like it’s around the corner. I’m just really, really upset.Every dollar matters right now.And even if the whole entire meal costs five dollars for everything or even if they offered me free food or my money back, I still wouldn’t go. But on the other hand they are very friendly people. The workers are very friendly but other than that, I can never eat there again.I’m just so upset

I would go as far as to say New China Tea is my favorite local Chinese food restaurant. They are probably the most efficient restaurant for delivery as well. I have eaten from New China Tea over 15 times through the years, and they have become a staple of my takeout Chinese food. The atmosphere is very nice, albeit a tad dated. New China Tea holds a special place in my heart, and I can reccomend the orange chicken to everyone.

I’m deeply disappointed in this establishment. It’s upsetting to see how they handled the recent situation, including locking the doors and allowing a woman to be detained by federal agents. Setting her to get caught. While her tears coming down one the workers stood there until they detained her.

This was once a place my family and I enjoyed for its food and atmosphere, but unfortunately, this experience has left a lasting sour taste to my mouth and now from it sweet-and-sour chicken.

I stand in solidarity with my community, which has been unfairly targeted and mistreated. I encourage others to consider supporting businesses that treat all members of the community with respect and compassion.
