It’s top notch as far as Chinese takeout dives. It’s cleaner looking than most, the food is what it’s supposed to be and cooked how it’s supposed to be cooked. If you like Americanized-Chinese takeout quality food, this is the best I’ve had in the area. These places should be noticeably better than buffet quality. I like that they dont over-do the velveting/marinade process to where the meat is slimey and gamey, as some Chinese operators tend to do.

Not the usual i get. I always get sesame chicken and it’s always chrispy NOT the soggy kind of chicken you use for sweet and sour or general tsos. It’s different now?? wish you told me that before I payed.

I ordered from the new China Star this past Friday, beef with mushrooms no vegetables.. found this at the bottom of my beef and mushrooms, if appears to be some kind of bottle cap whatever the coating was on the top of it was half melted off.

This is exactly what divey Chinese take out is supposed to be. The chicken in the General Tso’s was crispy even after the drive back to the hotel. The egg roll and crab rangoon are fried to crispy perfection. I would definitely get take out from here again.

Sadly this place really went downhill…oil needs changing, chicken pieces are very small, and portions have gone down too.

Best Chinese so far it’s so good that I travel 15 minutes just to eat here from the moment you walk in you are greeted and I appreciate the fact that the kitchen is open so I can see everything that’s going in and out This place is amazing I would totally recommend
