This is my first bad review that I’m writing for a business.

Alright so we all know Coalinga is a small town and there’s not much options. More so, this is the only option for Chinese food in town. I recently went there for visit for the first time because I love Chinese food and wanted to try them out.

Let me tell you, the food is not worth it. The quality of the food is so bad and it tastes weird like it’s been frozen for weeks and they just heat it up. Their food is so expensive and for what? Shitty customer service and frozen food? Not only that but they took 30 minutes to get my “to-go” food ready.

I walked in and the staff were on their phone and as it was my first time I was confused I thought they were customers. When I called for help, she slowly got up and went to the counter to help me. It was my first time so I didn’t know the menu and she was very annoyed and didn’t want to help me. Like geez, someone woke up on the wrong side of bed.

Anyways, I order, wait THIRTY minutes and when I got my food. Right away, the smell was off. I got chicken but it smelled and tastes like other kind of meats. There is 100% cross contamination going on.

Safe to say, never going back lol.

I wish Coalinga had another Chinese place

I really liked the food & especially the way they fry their Orange Chicken. The seater/checkout lady helped me out as I added shrimp to my pork chow mein. Reason prices & to go is only a little longer than any fast food place.

Food is good honestly but yes there’s a but I had take out this time and asked for chili paste and when I got home they literally put almost none in the container they put a very very small amount but if you eat there they do have it to where you can get as much as you want also they make Yu pay for the chili when Yu take out so just some advice eat inside.

High on grease and low on flavor. Incredibly overpriced and low quality. They really need some competition in coalinga.

My partner noticed they took it upon themselves to add a tip . The majority of the time we tip but didn’t add a tip on this occasion. People, check your transactions online. Will be going in to speak to a supervisor. Disappointing to see since we really enjoy the food here.

Ordered take out. It was great! Hot and fresh. Good size portions. Good value. I can’t wait to go back and dine in. Staff was friendly and helpful. I saw some friends dining. I could smell their sweet and sour while waiting for the order, and it smelled great. I had to say hi! Their other dishes on the table looked amazing.

We were from out of state and a bit skeptical going into the only Chinese restaurant in Coolinga but were not disappointed (most of the other restaurants were either Mexican or Pizza) .
The 2 sweet servers got our orders in quickly and food came pretty fast. Serving size were big. We ordered 3 dishes for 4 pax and there was more than enough for us. The dishes were hot with “wok hei” and taste just perfect. Will definitely recommend for 1st timers.
Only suggestion is to provide non Americanized Chinese dishes options for those of us who are Asians.

I’ve lived in Coalinga for 30 years and this restaurant has gone through its fair share of owners. Currently this food is the worst I’ve tasted. It’s very flavorless and bland. The potstickers are hard and chewy and the meat inside has a very off taste. Chow mein tastes like plain noodles and the rice tastes like white rice. The prices have skyrocket and the quality of food has plummeted. Unfortunately with these current owners I would not recommend dining here.

The Kung pow “chicken” had about 10 small pieces of chicken. The chow mein noodles were sticky and tasted weird. I think they might have been grocery store spaghetti noodles? Either way, not good. Should have found a panda, that would have at least been tasty.
