“VERY GOOD!”
On Tuesday, November 5, 2024, I purchased a carryout meal at New China restaurant in Huntsville, Alabama.
I have only been there a few times, and it’s been a number of years since my last visit.
On this visit, I chose the Mixed Vegetables meal, which comes with Rice. And, I also chose to add beef to it, which can be added at no extra charge.
I was very pleased with the taste of my meal choice. And, based on the portion size they give you, it is a GREAT VALUE for your money.
Furthermore, the mixed vegetables were fresh, perfectly cooked, and brilliant in their color combination—a “feast for the eyes.”
So, compliments to the ENTIRE team at New China restaurant in Huntsville, Alabama, for an enjoyable meal.

The female owner of this restaurant is really mean. If you leave her a $5 tip, she’ll be in a good mood, but if you leave only $2, she thinks you’re stingy. I often come here on weekends and holidays because there aren’t many food options near my workplace. Every weekend and holiday, a young girl is always there. She looks exhausted, but she still insists on serving me. I really can’t believe a girl has no time to rest—she goes to school five days a week and works at this place on weekends. She told me she’s only 15 years old, and the owner said she’s her niece. I feel the boss is really cruel to her. Even if the food here is okay, I still dislike the owner. One time, I saw the girl’s paycheck after her shift—it was so little, not even enough for three hours of regular work. The salary is really tiny! The owner is basically tricking a child into doing labor. Another time, I noticed that the boss sneaked food that had fallen on the floor and remade it.

Best fast food place in Huntsville. Cheap, fast, delicious, and friendly. Holes in the wall are the best. Very underrated restaurant. Pay $13 or whatever for a Big Mac combo or pay $10 for all this!

Had got 4 spring rolls and 2 veggie rolls. Was good plus some red sweet sauce to dip. Is a good snack for eating healthy even though it’s fried. Came out to about $7. No Wi-Fi though. Most places restaurants and stores should have free WiFi it’s 2023 … come on now. Tables and seat was dirty needed a good wipe down. Food was good though.

I got take out here occasionally , and I ideally have a good experience but this last time i got my normal would get, pepper steak, and this time it had a fishy taste to it. As if whatever it was cooked in wasn’t cleaned between meals properly. Everything else was fine, but for it being my main part of my meal it was disappointing

Have been to this location a couple times. They have the very best egg rolls! Me and a friend came in for lunch, both getting lunch combos on a Saturday. She got the orange chicken and I got beef and broccoli. Both were really good, though very hot temperature wise. I burnt my tongue not realizing it. I’m surprised it wasn’t melting the container they put it in! It was super hot! Took a minute before we were able to eat. The burnt stayed on my tongue for 2 days. It costed us $20 for the combos. I’ll probably just stick to the egg rolls. Those are just perfect for me

Disgusting. I think the rice was bad. It tasted rotten. I’m not picky n I could not force myself to eat it. The girl at front is a rude teenager. I don’t think i’ll ever want to eat Chinese again Gross.

Will not be back. Nothing was fried about this rice. It was just cooked yellow rice that they added onion and boiled shrimp to. Worse Chinese experience I’ve ever had

I ordered 2 Chicken Fried Rice Containers. It was really good and hot. Wouldn’t say fresh tasting though, at all. But very good none the less. I’d order again. The Uber driver on the other hand was awful. She was non-communicative, late, and kinda rude. All, in which doesn’t have anything to do with the food but this was my experience as a whole.
