Avoid this place unless you want to be charged extra!
Went in 4 adults for the first and last time. Ordered 3 dinner specials ($10.95) and 1 lemon green tea. The guy asked us what soup we want and we all said Chicken Noodle Soup. The food came almost all together. We were still eating the soup when the main dish came.
The chicken in the soup was shredded and had cornstarch or flour on it. The noodles were thick.
The same was the main dish, all vegetables and chicken/shrimps were coated in cornstarch/flour sauce. Chow mein was nice and tasty (thick noodles).
When we went to the till to pay, the girl said the total is $69.03, which didn’t make sense. We asked why such a high price and she said the soup was a big bowl, not a plastic small one, so it wasn’t included in the Dinner special price.
The guy never explained or asked us when he took our order. And also once we said Dinner Daily Special, he should’ve write down small bowls of soup. Not our fault that they brought other size to the table.
Atmosphere: quiet and only few people sitting at the tables

I was a three times a week local customer, but that loyalty and relationship has ended abruptly. I ordered and had delivered two orders of Chow Mein, and possibly due to improper food handling or lack of personal hand washing became very sick almost immediately. I called and spoke with a young Chinese gal who has been working for the owner Wendy for many years. Not only did she not apologize with absolutely no empathy, she told me I needed to get a doctor’s note for proof. How about that response from a ten year customer? OUTRAGEOUS ENOUGH TO WARRANT ME TO WRITE THIS GOOGLE REVIEW. I contacted the Better Business Bureau and will follow through with other legal means to get a refund and to bring food inspectors to this location for frequent, periodic inspections. STAY AWAY!!! Honestly, don’t deserve future local patronage.

Why I like this place is because it brings back so many memories of youth and growing up in San Francisco. No, it does not have a stunning atmosphere (actually it is pretty much the opposite of stunning). No, the location is pretty questionable (not dangerous so much as uncomfortable). But all of that is made up by the great food and really sweet service. Price is moderate (I think the days of cheap Chinese food is over IMHO). Good portions, very tasty food, excellent service reminds me of San Francisco in the 70’s and 80’s. I recommend take out.

New China Kitchen has become my go-to “don’t think, just order” Chinese spot in Vegas. From the outside it doesn’t look like much, but once you’ve eaten here a few times you get why so many people keep coming back. The food is always piping hot, flavorful, and not greasy, whether I’m picking up or getting delivery. I’ve tried a good rotation of dishes over time—walnut shrimp, combination fried rice, General Tso’s, kung pao, orange chicken, egg flower soup—and everything has that solid, classic American-Chinese comfort vibe. Portions are big, prices are very reasonable (especially compared to a lot of places now), and I never feel like I got shorted on meat or veggies.
Service is another big plus. The staff is consistently friendly, quick on the phone, and my delivery orders almost always show up earlier than the estimate, still steaming hot. Inside, it’s definitely more of a takeout joint—small dining area with just a few tables, nothing fancy—but they keep things moving and are polite even when they’re busy. It’s the kind of place you start using as a backup, and then realize it quietly turned into your main spot. If you’re looking for reliable, affordable Chinese that tastes way better than it looks from the outside, New China Kitchen is absolutely worth a try.

The customer service was amazing but the food was nasty. My husband got Teriyaki Chicken and he couldn’t even finish it and he’s a chicken condenser.
I ordered Shrimp LoMein with extra shrimp and there was maybe 5/6 pieces of shrimp and the noodles were dry. They give you a lot of food but it’s a waste. I wanted to come back to try something else but it was a waste of money the first time so never again. 0/10. Would never recommend.

This place typically serves delicious food however three times in a row now they have severely messed up our order. Tonight I got Mongolian beef three little tiny pieces of meat no carrots two or three small slivers of bell pepper, all onion and green onion. We ordered the potstickers none of the delicious sauce that comes with it. Sad to say but they lost a customer tonight. Been buying food from them for almost 6 years.

Great Chinese food! We have eaten here multiple times and every single time the food has been delicious. Always hot, flavorful and not greasy. They have a great deal lunch special with many choices for under 6 bucks, some of these plates weigh in at over 2 lbs. I recommend the combination lo mein and orange chicken, both always super good. The have coupons in the menu, don’t forget to use to get free food or $ off your order. Restaurant staff are always nice and friendly. Update: most dishes have gone up about a buck, still worth every penny, the orange chicken still one of the best in Vegas. The lo mein noodles and fried rice perfect, not greasy and great flavors.

We ordered the family meal. The food was good and plentiful. The Kung Pao combination was our favorite. The bathroom was old and the toilet shifted from side to side.

I got the combination rice delicious on the Walnut shrimp. Both were amazing and extremely affordable compared to some of the places nowadays. Doesn’t look like this is a dine-in place but at least on the Sunday they’re still open at 9:30.
