Ok, tried this place again after waiting a couple months. If you want to eat at a Chinese buffet and don’t want to drive a hour, this is really the only place to go. I do have to say that it wasn’t half bad this time. My only real complaint is it was very hot even though it was only 20 degrees outside. I came here on a Friday night around 5 pm. I had read somewhere on the Web dinner was $8.95 which is false. It’s a little over $15 and that’s with a glass of ice water. I still don’t think it was even close to being worth that. But, when you have no other choice, then what are you going to do? I went back yet again, third time. Took my crew of workers here for lunch. One of the guys found a piece of wire in his chicken and broccoli dish. Yes, I said that correctly, a piece of wire. It’s in the pic I posted. Yes this place is beyond terrible and I want people to beware, because if we found wire in a dish there’s no telling what else that you don’t see is in their food. Don’t eat here, it’s the worst Chinese restaurant I’ve ever been to.
I decided to give it another try. Went for lunch on a Tuesday around 11:30. Again, it wasn’t crowded and again, it wasn’t great. If you’re not picky about quality, and just want to get filled up. This is probably the place for you. To me, the foods below average. I also was expecting to pay $7 or $8, no, it was over $10 for one adult. Now, I definitely will not return here to eat.

Terrible! I love Chinese food, I even crave it usually once a month. So, when my roommate and I decided a week ago to try New China’s buffet, I looked forward to it all week. I read the reviews, I even talked to a couple people who said it was excellent. Unfortunately, it was far from even good. I’m a person at a buffet to try a little bit of everything then go back and get what I find taste the best. I couldn’t find anything that was even edible. Everything tasted like they had dumped a salt shaker on all the dishes. At first, I thought maybe it was me, that maybe my taste buds were off. No, because my roommate agreed 100% with me. We went on a Friday night around 6. It wasn’t real crowded at all, which is a pretty good sign it’s probably not going to be great. The crab legs that usually you can never go wrong with, tasted like when you get a mouth full of sea water at the beach, dirty salty dish water. The egg roll tasted like a rolled up old wet rag after you had just washed a sink full of dishes. The list goes on, nothing in my opinion on this buffet was edible. My roommate tried a Big bar B Que rib that looked delicious, looks were deceiving, because he almost threw it up after a couple bites. The crab Rangoon had very little filler if any cream cheese at all. Even the banana bread pudding had banana’s that were so old and mushy it ruined the banana pudding. And after not being able to eat anything, the bill was $34 for two people. Their service wasn’t great, but it wasn’t terrible either, just average. I don’t recommend eating here, and I personally will never go back.

Debbie’s granddaughter Emily likes to eat there because of the Sushie bar raw fish, Debbie,Robin, Silas and me ate the buffet. Always get monies worth, everything was clean and well stocked with tasty dishes of food like the beef&broccoli, the egg rolls , they take great care of changing to serving spoons and wiping down the serving tables and tables where we eat. The ladies are always checking to see if we need anything such as filing our drinks. I highly recommend this place to eat while in Washington Missouri they are located off hwy 47 next to Mattress Firm in the mini mall area..

Certainly plenty of choices and for the most part everything was good. Temps could have been warmer on the buffet but all n all it’s good.

BigBear Problems
Smaller buffet but had the early 2000s Chinese buffet vibe. Some of the food was odd but overall my family was pretty happy with it. Every employee that we can across did not speak English.

My family came here 10 minutes before closing time because we couldn’t get service at a nearby establishment. They extended their hours for another 20 minutes so that we could eat. There was plenty of food on the buffet. Everyone was attentive. Our cups were never empty and our dirty dishes were quickly removed from our table. Our server was very kind. The food was incredible. Thank you for staying later for us and letting us eat. Your kindness meant so much to my family.

I have gone here 4 times now and each time I have noticed a slight degradation in food heat and food quality. It is still good and I will go again in the future. The last visit on Saturday the food was cold and old. Great variety and typical Chinese American buffet. Usually always get to-go but seating is ample and staff is nice and accommodating.

Stopped in on a Sunday on a whim. To my surprise they had a beef roast , crab legs, frog legs, shrimp, hibachi, sushi and more for 11.95.
