When you walk in the restaurant there is no greeting. Some of the food is barely warm. There is what looks like mold on the ice cream freezer. The ice cream should have been replaced months ago.

Would not waste your time trying to call in an order bc whoever picked up today around lunch had a terrible attitude. Called in to place an order and the guy who answers is literally grumbling on the phone and had an irritated tone of voice. Not spending my money with a business who doesn’t know how to speak to their customers.

After carefully reviewing New China Buffet restaurant in Alexander City Al , I am very disappointed in the quality of the food overall. The buffet was very unorganized along with cold and over cooked food. While at this restaurant we did not experience any fresh hot food . Would I recommend this absolutely not. Would I return for a second visit, absolutely not. Grade F

I don’t know what happened to this place but not only did they mess up the order what we did get was horrible the chicken fried rice was boiled unseasoned chicken in yellow rice nothing else. I wish I could not even leave one star.

The place is small, the staff was not friendly, and the food was HORRIBLE. It is also pricey for the size of the buffet and the choice of food. Do not waste your time or money at this place.

There times they are open are wrong online, the food is nasty and the place is not clean, you have to pay before you can look/eat the buffet probably because they know it’s not good. I would not recommend this place.

I ordered fried scallops. It was fried imitation crab meat that tasted very fishy! Threw them away! The spring rolls were filled with something gooey. The mushy texture was disgusting. Threw them away! The crab rangoon was flat with hardly any filling, but at least they were edible. What a waste of money!!
