The best take-out place around. Family owned and operated for many years. Always friendly and polite. Prices good and service is quick. All cooked to order.

3rd time I have tried this place, hoping it might be better but nope, sorry to say. The chicken tastes like paste and rubber. Sweet and Sour chicken per my grandson was terrible (that is what he likes at any Chinese restaurant)The only thing worth eating was the lo mein noodles and rice. Won’t go back. Ever. China Buffet it is, still our favorite, best value too.

Not bad. They have a really good cook and generous servings.

You don’t even get an egg or shrimp rolls with your dinner because they don’t have them. Instead for 1.50 you can buy a spring roll. Worst I ever had. Sweet and sour chicken sauce had no flavor. For $35, I would expect more. WILL NOT BE BACK.

Not good. Ordered beef and broccoli for lunch it came with fried rice and few pieces of onions nothing else my beef was not good, chewy. I took it back because I sat in the car to try to eat but that didn’t happen.. I tried to be nice about it by not being loud and extra, the lady asked nono good? I says no. She took the food without saying sorry or anything and gave me my money back.. I just walked down to subway ♀️

New China is the best Chinese takeout in the Pines. It isn’t fancy, it’s just great for what it is. The egg rolls and soup are very good. I’ve never had a dish from here that I didn’t like. Price is comparable to any Chinese takeout in the area. Staff is friendly and orders are always accurate and prepped in a timely manner. You can tell that they take pride in their product. The only Chinese takeout that even comes close to New China in the area is the one by the Harris Teeter in Whispering Pines.

So very disappointed in the customer service. We get take out about once a week there and two days ago my husband ordered sesame chicken. He decided to take it to work the next day. He told me the chicken was so tough that he couldn’t eat it. I called New China and asked for a credit. They told me that they would not do that … ‘fried’ chicken menu items are prepared to be eaten that day. Who doesn’t like leftover Chinese? Sadly we will not be ordering from them again.

I was excited to try this place since it was one of the better rated Chinese food places in the area. Unfortunately, I ended up being disappointed with our food. Our chicken dishes were on the tough-side and the overall flavors weren’t great.

Ordered General Tso chicken and it’s probably the worst I’ve ever had. The chicken isn’t even chicken, it’s just fried breading. The sauce is bland and has absolutely no flavor. Just not good.

This is our go to Chinese food, we’ve had some others in the area and none of them compare. When calling in orders they have always been very kind, and we always get our proper order. If you’re looking for great food this is your place.
