dj not nice
I used to love coming to this place, but recently it has changed. When I order the lunch special the lady charges me for combination platters. 2nd I ordered crab ragoon they forgot the sauce that comes with it. When I ordered it again from them I told them they forgot it and said “you didn’t tell us you wanted it”?!?!? Like what the heck then charged me a $1 for the sauce. 3rd I ordered spare ribs with a combination platter the ribs were dry and no meat on them at all and then they forgot my egg roll. Another time I came here and they tried to make me pay 2 extra containers of food I never ordered and gave me a nasty attitude. There kitchen is disgusting idk how they pass inspection there’s grim on the windows that you can see from the outside parking lot. I will not be coming here anymore and will go down the street to the new Chinese restaurant. Im sorry to have left this place from being a loyal costumer. Lady in the front needs to work on her attitude and not be spiteful when you have business

For a little restaurant in the skook, they aren’t bad, not at all.
I’ve had a variety of the many different dishes they offer over the years and some of the complaints aren’t accurate at all. I’ve never had them over charge me, and I’ve never had issues with my meal. The food’s always been solid and they are kind when I stop in.
Now, their seating area was closed due to COVID and it took them a bit to reopen it, but I can confirm it’s reopened because I’m in the building as I’m writing this.
I’ve tried a lot of Chinese restaurants in the area however, yet I always find myself coming back to New China. Especially for their cheese wontons, they aren’t sweet as other places and I really like that. I’ve been eating here for years now and the food’s consistent and it’s good. It’s not some 5 star Michelin restaurant, but it doesn’t have to be, it’s good food for fair price and it always lasts me a few days.

Amazing food. My first time ordering from there and it will now be my go to place for Chinese. I hope in the future they add spring rolls, but either way: hot, fresh, delicious food.

My boyfriend and I tried this place on a whim and I just have to say it was the best decision ever! The food is always freshly cooked and ready to go when we arrive. The prices are extremely fair. The food is homemade and made with passion. The building is a little run down, but most authentic, and true food owners have that as well!

It ain’t bad, it ain’t great. Right in the middle. Decent Chinese food that’ll fill ya up for a decent price. Cant complain but can’t praise it much either.

Tofu shouldn’t be sautéed in this way. The worst way of making tofu. China King Restaurant got the best tofu. I been to a lot of Chinese places in pa.

Vegetables with white sauce was EXCELLENT (crisp vegetables with lots of delicious white sauce). Owner warned that seafood soup had small amounts of seafood, WRONG, it has LOTS of seafood and as much or more than at many restaurants I’ve eaten. Fried rice NOT greasy. Curry Mei Fun (not on menu) was very good and huge serving. Low prices for quality and quantity.
