I lived in China for two years and New Canton is my favorite restaurant now. The lo mein is always good, but the one we had tonight was on par with the street noodles I ate for lunch every day. There are very few places- even in St. Louis- that can compare.

I absolutely adore this place. They’ve catered for my high school graduation & now for my Navy going-away party. In the 7-8 years I’ve been going here they’ve never once gotten my order wrong, and the staff are always polite & pleasant. The food is always great & I look forward to every visit.

“25-30 minute wait” = 1 hour, more than once. They know it will take them more than 30 minutes but continue to tell customers that over the phone. They also get you to pay when you come in so you have no choice but to ride out the wait time. 1 hour 30 minute wait after being told “25-35 minutes”

I’ve been a New Canton customer since they opened when I was a kid. I know it’s changed hands quite a few times, but it’s still our go to Chinese takeout. Their crab Rangoon is hard to beat.

I mainly only ever get chicken fried rice and crab rangoon, I’m currently pregnant and crave this a lot so I eat here at least once a week. Service is fast and the girl working the counter is friendly. Occasionally the owners daughter works helping out her parents and she is very nice I’m sure children don’t want to grow up in there parents busyness they would rather be out with friends but it’s truly a blessing to have so much support. There is a dinning in option and it’s a clean quilt atmosphere very nice place!
