Great little mom and pop place for traditional mexican breakfast! We had bean and cheese tacos and a chilequiles plate a la mexicana with corn tortillas. Everthing was delicious. Servings were huge and tasty! Super fast service and very friendly. We loved the salsa and it was a perfect compliment and homemade tortillas were yummy We will be back to check out lunch! If you are super hungry and want a quick and delicious breakfast, this is the place!

We stumbled upon this little restaurant by accident. The food is delicious and the staff are super friendly and provide great service. The barbacoa is my personal favorite but other things I have tried didn’t disappoint. Prices are a little bit higher than what I’m use to but honestly in today’s economy who hasn’t increased their prices? Flour tortillas are large, so are the tacos they serve on them. I definitely recommend you give them a try for breakfast or lunch!

First time here, ordered birria taco which they said they had the best in New Braunfels. Umm no, it only had cheese, a birria taco has to have meat! Ordered dozen tortillas they were ok, kinda thick . Just not to my liking. I will drive to Los Jalapeños restaurant in San Antonio if I want real home made tortillas. Lesson learned.

Sadly, our expectations were not even close to met. My wife had heard positive reviews from coworkers about it and we decided to try it. First, there was no parking available. We had to street park. Then, after entering, there was no greeting nor sign letting us know if it was order-then-sit or sit-then-order. After getting seated, the table wasn’t cleared. After that, we ordered simple brunch food (a breakfast burrito for me and breakfast plate for my wife) and the proceeded to wait a LONG time for our food. We had enough time to mellowly finish our chip bowl and finish four fully vetted conversations prior to the food arriving. It was enough time to wonder aloud “Where is our food?” naturally. It then came and my requested extra crispy bacon was super floppy and more fat than meat. Everything in the burrito was unseasoned. There was no sauce in sight. It was just bland, in summary. My wife’s plate was slightly less bland than mine and her egg had a “dirty” flavor. I don’t know how to describe it better than that it just tasted like dirt. The understaffed staff was quite friendly and easy to talk to, when you could find them. The food was also a little overpriced, in our opinion, for what we got. All things considered, I don’t believe we’ll be returning.

We ordered our breakfast ahead and picked up in the drive through. Everything was excellent. The portions are very generous for the price. Of course the tortillas were delicious and fresh. The barbacoa taco was huge and so moist and flavorful. Will definitely come back!

Not my cup of tea. Salsa was really good not too spicy but chips was not made there but from store. Birria had cheese in it witch I didn’t like, and flavor was not that strong. Asada taco so so….I mean u don’t need to be expert to make meat bu also it come only with onion and cilantro. Also Birria was very grisy . Jamaica was to deluded with water. Really small place and crowded. Service was polite and fast.

New Braunfels Tortilleria. Is one of the best places I had Barbacoa or Chicharrón tacos. While driving thru To San Antonio. The staff and service was great every one is friendly. So please stop by and give it a try you won’t regret it.

Delicious, flavorful and hot traditional Mexican favorites. Breakfast, tacos and lots of lunch specials. Friendly and fast courteous staff. Family environment and casual. Huge bowls of menudo and tortilla soup. The hot sauce was super fresh with a kick! Yes it gave me the hiccups! Crispy tacos were fat, juicy and tasty.
