Food was absolutely phenomenal! Exceeding all expectations the house delivered with our meal. We ended up snagging the caution roll and the curry and man am I satisfied. Highly recommend. Staff were extremely nice and the owner is absolutely adorable. 10/10 would recommend.

The manager and staff are so friendly, and the establishment is clean. Wonderful atmosphere, and food. We were given free Thai tea for being first time customers. Highly recommend giving this restaurant a try. I tried the monster sushi roll, and it was very good. Hospitality is a 10/10.

What can I say? Bangkok Thai & Sushi is one of my absolute favorite places to enjoy not just amazing food, but also family time and good fellowship. The staff truly feel like family — always warm, welcoming, and kind. Every visit has been nothing but positive, and the consistency keeps me coming back.
My go-to dish is the Pad Woon Sen — it’s always fresh, hot, and made to order. The portion sizes are generous and the food reheats perfectly the next day, which I appreciate! If you love dessert, the mango sticky rice is a must-try, especially when mangoes are in season — it’s the perfect sweet ending. When they’re not, I recommend the green tea ice cream sundae topped with their homemade fresh raspberry syrup — absolutely delicious.
I also recommend trying the Pad Thai, green iced tea, and of course, a classic Thai iced tea. The atmosphere is cozy and comfortable, making it easy to relax and enjoy your meal. Bangkok Thai & Sushi is truly a staple here in Porter County — they’ve earned my support for life!

N6 Khao soi, E5 Crab fried rice, crispy moon app and Cali roll. All was very delicious. The Khao Soi is perfect if you want full flavor and little spice. Atmosphere is relaxed and service was good. Will come back to try Ramen next. Aug 29,2025

This Place was smaller than I thought once indoors. The love I felt from the head chef herself was superb!! My daughter ordered the Thai version of “beef and broccoli” and the flavor literally made me want to kidnap the Chef!!! She came to give the plate as soon as it was finished and realized it was for my daughter (8) and said it’s to spicy for you. My daughter LOVED it. We also ordered the crab Rangoon and the spring roll. I could make a dinner out of the spring rolls alone!!! I ordered the Pad Thai which was a recommendation. Turned out so fresh and it hit the spot. They also had a Thai Tea which will have me coming back.

The food was delicious! They were closing for their lunch break and we were either going to wait an hour or find other lunch accommodations. Staff came outside and invited us in during their lunch time. The sushi was delicious and looked like a piece of art. Service was excellent. This place is a hidden gem in Valparaiso northside.

Service takes a minute but from the moment we walked in till the moment we walked out, we felt like family. The food was divine (the best tonkatsu ramen I’ve ever had). The portions were so much ive got plenty of leftovers. The food and atmosphere is massively overshadowed by the amazing friendly service of the staff. The woman who served us is a whole reason by itself to keep coming back. 10/10 experience I’m in love after my first trip here!

I was in town for business and stopped at this local owned Thai restaurant. It was amazing! The service was incredible; they were welcoming and checked on me throughout the meal. And the portions! I barely made a dent in my entree, Drunken Noodles, after having the Steamed Pork Dumplings as an appetizer. It was all hot and very fresh. The ingredients were really flavorful, all the veggies had a great crunch. Wonderful dining experience all together. I left happy and would absolutely come back.

Very nice restaurant. It was recommended to me and we will be going back. The Thai Teas were tasty, we loved the various appetizers and the main courses were fantastic. Portions are large (we all took boxes home). I had Drunken Noodles with chicken. Can’t wait to return .

We definitely will come back again to try more different Thai food. Tom Kha is rich in coconut milk but balanced with a sweet and sour taste, Papaya salad is recommended but be careful, it is spicy
