I’ve been to New Asian Panda a couple times. Their Vegetarian section with the mock meats is fantastic! This time I got the Mock Orange Chicken- really good! But the Mock Lemon Chicken has been the best.
The Crab Rangoons and Fried Veggie Dumplings were really flavorful. Highly recommend.
The General Tsos Shrimp was good flavor-wise but just a little too soggy. Didn’t have that crispy exterior.
Will be back! I wanna try the Mock Beef!

Beef Lo Mein is good. I asked for it extra spicy and they honored my request ️

I have been to New Asian Panda many times. I always order the Singapore rice noodles with vegetables, mixed vegetables with tofu, Szechwan green beans, and spring rolls. Love their food, consistent every time. Fast service and good price. I will stop in again on my next visit to Richmond.

Amazing Food. The lunch prices are great. Wish they included soup with lunch specials. Overall it’s our family go to Asain restaurant.

Five stars. I’ve lived here in short pump for a few years now and have not found a Chinese restaurant I really liked yet. I absolutely LOVE this place. The food was hot and delicious. No wait. I got the Singapore mei fun and mapo tofu and crispy noodles. The owner is so friendly. Great service. Will be back here again soon. I’ve found my new go to place to Chinese food.

My boyfriend & i tried this Chinese place for the first time. We both got the fried chicken wings & rice with two egg rolls. We both give it a 5/10. The chicken tasted like it was refried but it wasn’t the worst chicken i tasted & i can definitely tell it’s NOT freshly fried. The fried rice is something that we are not used to at all. The eggs rolls were really good the best part of the meal but we wished it was more fuller like we are used too.

I am so glad I didn’t base my decision on the negative reviews I saw. I definitely would say this place is close to perfect. Definitely some of the best Chinese I’ve had. Everything I ordered was really good. Only thing is: the hot and sour soup just wasn’t for my taste buds. I like that it’s vegetarian, though. My advice to them would be to continue expanding their vegan/vegetarian offerings!!

First Asian place we have tried in the area. Not really a large restaurant, there was only three tables, no one dining in, but we always do take-out. The Sesame Chicken was really good, same with the Sweet and Sour Chicken. Crab Rangoon needed to be cooked longer, they were a little rubbery, and were small. Mongolian Beef was okay, there was no sauce on it, more watery than a thick sauce, and it was not spicy at all. But we will give New Asian Panda another try sometime. Food was hot and ready when we arrived, good service.
