Opened in 1984 as Asian Kitchen, the restaurant evolved into New Asian Kitchen in 2003, when it was purchased by Jinshi and Qui Xian Tan, the current husband and wife owner operators. The Tans use only the finest and freshest ingredients available. They significantly expanded the original menu to include the most popular dishes from the best known Chinese cuisines — Cantonese, Mandarin, Szechwan, and Mongolian. This charming Chinese restaurant, tucked away from the usual tourist spots, offers exceptional service. Their attentive staff ensures a pleasant dining experience. While they serve drinks in those distinctive red plastic cups, which may appear to be unfiltered water, the prices are incredibly reasonable. It’s a great place to grab a quick lunch or a hearty dinner.

You know what, it’s a small quaint place. Staff is friendly. Wishing the Orange Beef & sesame chicken were crispier, but the flavor was great. Price is reasonable compared to Panda. You essentially get the same amount or maybe even a little more.

I have been coming here for years and I have to say this place is not what it used to be. I understand the price increase for the food since everything else is going in the same direction, but I do not appreciate trying to minimize the quality of food you get for the money. I ordered over $50 worth of food, seafood combo is my favorite. Scallops were tiny ones and not like the big ones it used to be, crab meat was shredded not in chunks like it was, there was only 3 shrimp in the mix, and some fish. Beef and broccoli portion was decent; food was fresh and so were the egg rolls so that was great. I have to say it’s disappointing and I am not sure that I will continue to go back.

Best Chinese Food in Arizona & affordable!!! I’ve enjoyed their food for over 20 years & it’s consistently hot fresh and delicious!!! I moved over 80 miles away and whenever I’m in town I will pick up their food because nothing even gets close to it where I live now!!!

Absolutely the best we’ve had! Great service, and always very accommodating with anything extra that I ask for with my order. We do pickup on Fridays and the food is always packaged so nicely and ready to go! I recommend to everyone

Great food and amazing staff came here for the first time tonight and we’ll definitely be back the waitress was unbelievably attentive and nice. I’d suggest getting the pupu platter everything on it was delicious. My only complaint was it was really warm inside the restaurant.

I ordered takeout from New Asian Kitchen and had a really upsetting experience. When I opened my bag, there was a piece of cardboard inside that was covered in animal poop. I don’t know how something like that ends up in a food bag, and it’s very concerning that no one noticed it before giving it to a customer.
I felt sick after eating the food, and before I left I took a quick look toward the kitchen area. It looked extremely dirty and unorganized. After seeing the condition of the kitchen and finding that piece of cardboard, I will not be going back.
I’m sharing this because it feels like a serious health and safety issue, and I hope they address it.
