Since the first time here, I have been back numerous times and it’s consistent and delicious. I have tried almost everything on the menu, there isnt one dish that I didn’t like.
First timer and definitely will return. The place is very welcoming, lots of color, friendly staff, it had a good vibe.
I was in the hunt for tacos and they did not let me down. Corn tortillas piled high with steak, cilantro, and onions, full of flavor, and not greasy.
Tostadas were good as well. Topped with ground beef, lettuce, cream cheese, and avocado. The tostado held up and didn’t break. The ground beef was a bit greasy but really good flavor.
Tamale filled with well flavored chicken was also delicious. I was told the chicken was a little spicy by my wife, she doesn’t like heat. **speaking of heat** the green was surprisingly hot (I like hot) the orange sauce was even hotter. But both are great sauces.
Lots of fruit cups, elote, chips, cake, and ice cream.

La monarca has become a go to spot for me and my friends. We’ve been over a dozen times and we’ve never had a bad experience. The food is always amazing and their desserts are delicious too!

I was excited to try this place! As I looked at the amazing menu but felt pressured to order. I was rushed and would have ordered more but the person attending us seemed irritated. I will go again in hopes of a better customer service experience! I love supporting small businesses.

Been coming here for a few months now and usually order a small mini pancake and asada doritos to go. today i decided to get a medium and couldn’t help but notice the price was $24.99 VS $16 for the small. When i opened my container it had the same 3 rows of pancakes you get inside the small except it had more fruit on it. So, you guys are charging $10 more for fruit? You can make this whole menu item for probably less than $5 and you are charging $24 for the same thing the small is basically. Absolutely ridiculous and i won’t be back.

This is my FAVORITE Mexican restaurant in Lincoln, Nebraska. I love the Asada tacos. Today we tried the tostada. Not only was it beautiful, but it tasted amazing. They even have a cute wall where you can take a selfie. I would highly recommend this place it’s very affordable, clean, and fun eating area.

If you’re looking for excellent service and a unique take on Mexican food, stop here! Delicious food and desserts. Highly recommend trying all the ice cream flavors and the house made Agua Fresca!! Other great dishes include the shrimp ceviche tostada and sopes.

Such a fantastic meal! Tamales were , the elote was amazing , and my husband had “ the best burrito I’ve ever had “ . I’d have pictures but we ate everything too quickly ! Thanks for the amazing food! We’ll be back for ice cream 🙂
