Made the drive over from Radcliff to give this highly recommended eatery a try. We tried the lasagna special which came with bread and a salad as well as the country fried steak mash potatoes and green beans. It was great to be in a small town place where it feels like everyone knows your name. We finished out meal with a tour of the building with Jerry. He told us the story of Nettie’s and the history of the building it and town. It was great experience all the way around. Can’t wait to get back and try some other offerings from the menu.

Dinner – 12/6
Without question the worst meal we have had in Breck or Grayson Counties – and that’s saying something. Maybe we ordered the wrong things.
Starter – Onion Petals: a handful thrown on a plate. Clearly right out of the freezer and tasted like it. Sauce was good.
Wife’s Meal – Cod dinner with green beans, mac and cheese, roll: fish was that triangle shaped you get from the freezer brands, greens beans must have sat on the stove all day, mac and cheese was mushy, roll was again one of those you get from the freezer section.
My Meal – chicken fried steak, green beans, mashed potatoes, roll: steak came from the freezer, green beans alrady mentioned, roll already mentioned but the best were the mashed potatoes – INSTANT from the box and tasted like it – come on, you can do better.
Very disappointing because you see decent reviews but this is as bad as it gets. Would expect at least some items that are freshly made.

This was our first time at this restaurant we were greeted by the owner opening the door for us After we were seated he took us on a tour of the building and informed us of the history that surrounds the atmosphere. The top level is reserved out for parties and such.. Pictures of days gone by adorn the walls. Nettie came to our table and told us of her specials and signature dishes she was very nice and made you feel like you were family The service was awesome the food was delicious and I would not hesitate to go back

This place is amazing! The atmosphere is great and the staff are there to take care of you. We had a party of 9 so everyone got something different and ALL the food was great. If you’re in the area definitely check Nettie’s out.

My wife and I had some business near Hardinsburg and decided to have a late lunch at Nettie’s. First time eating there. Excellent service and huge portions! Our waitress made several trips to check our drinks. Food was wonderful. Best onion rings in KY. We will be back!

Outstanding place with delicious strawberry vinaigrette on my strawberry salad. Hamburger was cooked to my specifications and the tomato and lettuce were fresh.

My family group of 9 visited Nettie’s for lunch today. We were greeted by sweet Nettie herself and quickly seated together at a large table. What a treat. My only complaint is that the menu is so full of delicious options that making a choice was tough! That said, we ordered a wide variety including meatloaf, chicken salad, strawberry salad, chicken tenders,
fried green tomatoes, club sandwich and other yummy things I can’t remember. Everyone loved their food. Our server was attentive. The atmosphere is homey. We are all visiting from out of state, but if we lived here, Nettie’s would be our favorite restaurant!

Met a group of girls here and while the server was patient and understanding, they were out of chicken so I ordered a steak which was very overcooked, I assume because it was so thin. The girl sitting right next to me didnt even know what was on my plate. I got it with green beans which I tried one bite of and they were bland. I did eat my salad so Im glad I got it. They didnt make me pay for the entire meal, just the salad and drink (which wasnt refillled). I wont be returning to Nettie’s based on this experience. Met the owner who was a nice and funny lady.

had dinner with friends at this restaurant last night. I ordered prime rib, and the first plate came out very well done as well as my friend who ordered the same thing. Both plates went back for me, the second platen that came out was over cooked again, but it was incredibly salty. I couldn’t eat it. Also, we had ordered cabbage as well as green beans that were so overly salted. We could not eat any of it. One of my friends ordered the meatloaf, and it was very tasty, the mac & cheese that I had was good and not over salted.
The more difficult part of this dining experience is that when I told the waiter that the prime rib was still over done, and extremely salty, they responded very negatively. now I am not one to complain usually, but the food in several aspects was so bad, and I couldn’t even eat it.
One of my friends ordered fried shrimp, and it was quite delicious. The staff was just organized, the service was very slow, I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone. They really need to get it together in the kitchen and be careful of serving food that’s so salted, it’s really not healthy for people
