Not worth it. We bought Rosca de Reyes, a light spongy traditional Hispanic bread with baby Jesus figures in it to celebrate the Epiphany or arrival of the three wise men with presents for baby Jesus. We homeschool and learned about this tradition a while back and have bought this bread for about 9 years now from othe bakeries in California, Utah, Nevada, Idaho, Wyoming, Montana and Texas. We can say that we kind of know what the bred is supposed to look like, taste like, and the approximate cost of it. The one we bought from this place was a thick, heavy doughy, flaky and dry bread with a thin layer of this brown sweet flavorles paste in it causing the bread to become even heavier and hard to eat. We bought the smaller one (about 10″ long) and paid about $32 for it; more than twice as we have paid for a larger version at other places.

Really can’t say enough good about this place. Being from SoCal, there isn’t a panaderia in the LA area that makes bolillos as good as Neto’s does. Just fantastic. And the folks running the place are super nice. Go right after they open and get a still-warm bolillo con queso crema y jalapeños. You won’t be disappointed.

Guava empanadas are to die for! Lightly crispy on the outside and cream cheese/ full bodied guava mix on the inside. AND they’re only 90¢…. So a friend and I ate 6 between us LOL oops

Absolutely fantastic bakery. We tried so many things and they were all so good. The Jalapeño Cream Cheese Bolillo was probably our favorite if we had to pick. They are also so nice and had the best customer service.
I also didn’t realize until we went in there that they have a small selection of other grocery store items, things like specialty chips, candy, and drinks; as well as basics like gallons of milk. Highly recommend.

If you love Mexican pastries, look no further! This place has it all. The variety was insane and the quality was absolutely fabulous. To top it all of, the price point is the best I’ve ever seen! If you’re new to Mexican pastries, start out by trying the wedding cookies. I could have eaten them for days! Yum yum yum!

I celebrated dia de los muertos for the first time with my family this year and we needed to get some pan muerto to compliment the atole we made. This place was beyond helpful, not only were they able to accommodate me on such short notice on the day of the dead, they were super friendly, warm and welcoming! They made me feel like I was part of the family, it’s never the same whenever I go to other bakeries, the hospitality is unlike anywhere else from my experience in Mexican owned businesses or indigenous owned businesses. The bread was fresh, subtle sweetness and made with fresh ingredients and fruits. A little slice of home, away from home, I highly recommend this place!
