I really want to like this place. They have a great space, and I’m glad to see businesses putting money into the Taylorville square and fixing up properties. That’s good for the whole community.
I’ve eaten here many times. When they first opened, it was pretty good. But the last several times I’ve been there, it’s been disappointing. I don’t think I’ll be giving it another try.
The food has been overcooked every time recently. On my last visit, I ordered a chicken wrap and the chicken was hard as a rock. It was very overcooked and tough to eat. On top of that, there was no sauce at all, so it was dry and not enjoyable.
I would have asked for a new one, but our server never came back to the table after dropping off the food. We didn’t get drink refills. No one checked on us while we were eating. This has happened more than once. The staff aren’t rude, but they just don’t come back to the table. Once your food is delivered, don’t expect refills or a chance to ask for anything else you might need.
It’s frustrating because this place has potential. I’ve seen it be good before. I hope things improve, but between the overcooked food and the lack of service, I can’t recommend it right now.

The esthetic of this restaurant is fantastic. The food was fresh and delicious and was served hot and fast! I would definitely encourage anyone visiting Taylorville to check this amazing restaurant out. You will not regret it!

First time going here and it will not be the last! I love the decor and the waitress was attentive and friendly. I had a spiked s’mores milkshake and I don’t remember the exact name but a huge burger with cheese steak and tons of delicious cheese sauce. It was amazing. My husband had a BBQ burger he said was great, my friend had a birria grilled cheese that she loved (it looked so good) and another had a horseshoe and milkshake as well. Portions were big, I was stuffed and had leftovers that were good too. I can’t wait to get back down and eat here again.

My wife had her 20 year high school reunion here and the food and atmosphere was perfect for the event. We had part of the second floor reserved and it was a nice open space for the group. We ordered the 1/2 price apps – cheese curds and Parmesan/bacon onion rings. Both were so good and tasty. We also got the Philly cheese steak stack fries for dinner. It was so delicious and filling . Great spot to eat and chill for sure.

When we first walked in, we were excited. We ordered 2 waters and got 2 unsweetened teas instead . My husband and I both ordered dishes with pulled pork. It was ice cold and the BBQ sauce tasted like a great value version. Got me some zucchini fries for a 6.00 upcharge. No dipping sauces offered, no napkins. It gives off a vibe like they are a few napkins or a ranch dipping sauce cup away from going bankrupt.

This was my first time to visit Nesty’s. I had heard good things about it and it did not disappoint. I enjoyed the cowboy burger – it was delicious! The blend of flavors – BBQ sauce, onion straws, and blue cheese was fantastic. I also liked the boozy milkshake. The atmosphere is clean, relaxing, and trendy. The prices of the burgers are higher than most restaurants, but the quality of ingredients make them worth the price point. The server was very friendly and attentive. I will definitely go back!

This place smells amazing right when you walk in. And then you’re greeted by a fun yet relaxed atmosphere.
I had the Jalapeno Jack burger and it looked like a work of art. It was almost a shame to eat it, it looked so beautiful. The taste is perfection. Perfectly cooked and seasoned patty that tastes hand made. The bun is just the right combination of soft and firm. The lettuce and tomato are fresh.
Service was very friendly and prompt. My glass was never empty.
At about $20 per person I would say you’re getting a good value considering the quality of the food.

Good food. Wasn’t expecting to pay a gradituity charge after the fact. Don’t have a problem tipping good service but not when you force it on the bill for two people

We came in from out of town for a football game. Came across Nesty’s while rounding the town square. The restaurant/bar is very nicely decorated, with the exposed brick and tin ceilings. The place is very clean as well. Our server was very friendly & the food came out AMAZINGLY fast and piping hot. I mean so fast it was unreal. We didn’t have to worry at all about making the game on time. I had the chicken bacon ranch wrap, which was delicious and my husband had the chicken avocado salad, which he said was very good. Prices were also reasonable. They use the latest technology for bill payment, so we were able to cash out and be on our way equally as fast as we were served. We were glad to have stopped by Nesty’s and would highly recommend it to locals and visitors!

Food was great, the fried mushrooms were very good and crisp. I had the tenderloin and it was great as well, and will definitely fill you up. The whole bar put off a good vibe and I saw they have live music at times. Only complaint would be the service wasn’t the greatest.
