The food is made with love and is healthy and tasty. The atmosphere is also quite pleasant and inviting. I like that you can order a half portion, too. You won’t be disappointed if you visit and try the food, and if you can purchase your meal, the funds will be used to help the community. It really is a win-win experience!

I wasn’t sure exactly what to expect when I first came to NEST Café. I was overwhelmingly impressed with all aspects with this restaurant. The food is so delicious and well thought out. The vegan and vegetarian options are top notch. The fact that everything is organic and locally sourced for $10 is just mind blowing. The level of care and love that the people who work there put into this restaurant makes it one of my absolutely favorite places to go in the entire Quad Cities. I cannot recommend it highly enough to bring your friends to or eat there with groups of people.

I’ve been going to NEST since it first opened, and the freshness and taste of the food have not been disappointing! Today’s meal was a make your own quesadilla with a side option of chips and salsa or rice and beans. Also included a small salad and dessert option between a vegan fruit crumble or a reeses peanut butter cookie. (Pictures below) For drinks they had water and iced Hibiscus Tea.

All of the offerings are fresh and prepared in the cafe and are served to you via volunteers!

This cafe is pay what you can making it more accessible for the community to have fresh meals. If you can’t afford to pay, they simply ask you volunteer in return.

I love NEST cafe and its message of community. It’s definitely a worthwhile stop 🙂

First time here. Unique pay as you can afford to pay. Suggested $7 half plate, $10 full plate. Ate Mexican food. Locally sourced food. Very friendly staff, no waiting for lunch. They have sidewalk tables. Very clean inside. Definitely recommend you try this place.

NEST Cafe is a true gem of the Quad Cities lunch scene. Always a great experience and a friendly staff. Feels like sitting down to a warm home cooked meal with your family. A different menu every day that keeps things interesting with vegan options that can introduce people to plant based alternatives that they may have never tried before.

So grateful to have a Pay-What-You-Can restaurant in the QC. The food is all home
cooked with a rotating menu – produce obtained from the local farmers market, love love love the dependable vegan options they provide as well. The vibes are great and no – they dont judge or question you if you cant pay much. They’re very sweet and I’m very grateful 🙂
