Amazing restaurant. Gumbo dish was delicious, so was the Alaskan crab! We also got 3 orders of coconut shrimp. The steak was average, but that should be expected because this is a seafood place. Live music was awesome, our waitress did a great job and was very friendly.

This place is your typical tourist trap restaurant, just what you’d expect with lots of fried food. Prices are higher ’cause you’re paying for the location. I got a simple Caesar salad with grouper, but the fish was super thin, almost like tilapia. My son’s nachos had dry pulled pork and barely any cheese, mostly just chips. I debated getting a coctail since they’re usually watered down, and yep, that’s exactly what happened. The drinks weren’t worth it. But hey, the location and entertainment were awesome – great on the water location, a guy playing guitar and singing. You just won’t get a great meal here. Service was good though; our waiter was attentive and took care of us.

Food and drinks were served very quickly and everything tasted awesome. Few options for shareable drinks. Shark Attack was okay but next time we’re going for the Margarite flights. The server was prompt and got us taken care of!

I ordered the Gatorade bites and really like them for the app. I then ordered a pain killer!!! To eat it ordered the grilled cheese lobster sandwich with onion rings. The wife got ribs. All was very delicious. I even forgot to take more pictures. I would recommend coming here. Daniel was a great server!

Nellie’s has a great atmosphere, especially with its waterfront setting, which really adds to the overall ambiance. We came for lunch and left somewhat satisfied, but also a bit disappointed. We ordered the crab cake sandwich and the blackened haddock sandwich, both with coconut onion rings.
The outdoor patio had quite a few birds around, but we didn’t mind, and the staff were actively trying to keep them away. The service itself was very good. Our server was attentive, friendly, and checked in on us regularly.
The prices were on the higher side, and there were no lunch specials, though that was expected given the area and waterfront location.
Unfortunately, the food was the biggest letdown. The coconut onion rings arrived lukewarm and hard, with the onion inside almost raw. The dipping sauce tasted like a bottled sweet and sour sauce rather than something freshly made. My blackened haddock was very overcooked, and the seasoning was inconsistent. Some parts were bland, while other bites were overly salty and heavily seasoned. The onion also was old and mushy. After the meal, my friend also felt extremely bloated and unwell.
Overall, Nellie’s delivers on atmosphere and service, but the food did not meet our expectations for lunch.

We had a party of 7 and they were able to accommodate us very quickly. We enjoyed our food and the service was great. The portions were huge, none of us could even eat half of our meals.

Nervous Nellie’s is a waterfront restaurant with a big menu and a fun, casual beach vibe. The atmosphere — especially outdoor seating with and water views — is definitely a highlight and makes it a fun place to grab a meal or drink with friends or family. Many of the dishes, like the fresh seafood and oversized sandwiches, are tasty and generous in portion. That said, on a busy night the service and food timing can feel a bit inconsistent, and a few menu items might not stand out compared to others. Overall, it’s a decent spot for a relaxed meal on the water, but some aspects can vary depending on when you visit.

Our server, Alisha, was friendly, engaging, and attentive with her service. The food was amazing. We had Alaskan King Crab that was cooked to perfection. A slice of key lime pie topped off the meal. We were able to sit, relax, and enjoy our meal even though the restaurant was incredibly busy. Thank you, Alisha, for the great service!

We booked a reservation in advance, as they seem to be very busy around dinner time, and We were seated immediately. The drinks were good, but the star of this meal would definitely have to be the peel and eat shrimp.
My family and I are visiting from Iowa, and the variety of fresh seafood options was very exciting for us. We decided to order a half pound of the peel and eat shrimp, and I can confidently say that these are the best shrimp I have ever had. They had great flavor, very fresh, and perfectly cooked. The peel and eat shrimp from other restaurants nearby were not nearly as good in comparison.
The entrees were very good aswell, we ordered the lobster grilled cheese, the seafood pasta, the boom-boom chicken sandwich, the gumbo, and another dish I don’t quite remember.
