We visited Nero Restaurant in St. Augustine today for breakfast, and I ordered the Italian omelette—without a doubt, one of the best omelettes I have ever had.

My family and I truly enjoyed both the food and the atmosphere. Although we experienced a minor inconvenience, the staff handled it professionally and promptly, even offering a 10% discount. Their customer service made a great impression.
We will definitely be returning.

It’s a real shame that a café with such a stunning waterfront view doesn’t meet expectations in terms of food and service quality.
My brunch included pancakes, muffins, and coffee. The food itself was very mediocre. The pancakes were unnecessarily large, and the flavor was bland. The coffee was not the best quality, and I was surprised by the lack of basic milk-based drinks on the menu, like a latte or cappuccino. Furthermore, the presentation was poor: the coffee was served with disposable stirring sticks instead of spoons, and the maple syrup came in cheap plastic packaging.
The biggest issue was the cleanliness of the cafe itself: the interior was unfortunately quite dirty, with visible trash on the tables and worn-out, scuffed furniture. The service was polite but unremarkable.
I would only recommend this place for a quick visit for the view, but not for a proper meal.

Had a lovely breakfast with our kiddo and nana on thanksgiving morning here. The team was extremely kind and the food was great. Would recommend to any families or folks looking to enjoy a leisurely breakfast with good food, great coffee (strong!) and a view of the bridge (which for littles is so exciting because it is a drawbridge and goes up and down).
Also, you can’t beat their Christmas decorations!!

For the Holiday season this place was decorated beautifully. We were strolling past the coastline to locate a restaurant with view and this one was just that.
It was heavily crowded owing to the touristy season and took a while for us to get seated.
We ordered Caesar salad with chicken, for me specifically it was a lil bland and tried it with the hot sauce, which for my taste was brilliant!
The chicken sandwich came along with fries. The buns seem to be made in house and it was really good.
Hummus and pita was the star of all! A must try. We ordered fries on side as well and no complaints there too.
The service was pretty fast too considering the crowd they had then. The decor inside was just too good, perfect for a holiday season.

Great view! Beyond awful layout of tables, VERY cramped quarters to eat. Also quite expensive; our 2 egg breakfast with breakfast potatoes, bacon, and toast was $18 a person, add coffee and orange juice and our total for breakfast was $48 and it was no where near as good as Waffle House, which serves the exact same food. Hit this place up later in the day for a cocktail or martini but definitely skip it for breakfast. I also had to chase down my own silverware for our table, even after asking 2 different servers after our food came out.

Looking to have a nice lunch we stumbled upon Nero’s in beautiful St. Augustine. We later found out that this is a very popular restaurant and I can see why. Great staff, excellent food and awesome outside seating. Our server, Dennis, was full of energy and very friendly. The restaurant is located on A1A and has a beautiful view of St. Augustine inlet. The restaurant is very unique and has a great personality. The food was excellent and well prepared. I had the Saratoga Club sandwich (wrap) and fries. The wrap was packed full of bacon, ham, turkey, lettuce and tomato, and was fresh and tasty. The fries were hot, crispy and soft inside. Overall, a great dinning experience and nice relaxing atmosphere.

We finally got a chance to try this joint out. I would say the location is great with a nice water view. We had good service as well. My fiancé had the Caprese Benedict. She really enjoyed it. I had the Three Little Pigs Omelet, and the home fries that came with it were delicious. We both thought the omelet itself was bland and could use some salt and pepper.
We will come again and try different items and update the review if needed.

My husband & I decided to give this little place a try for breakfast since we usually visit of an evening for drinks. I ordered French Toast w/coffee & he ordered Fried Chicken & Biscuits w/a Bloody Mary. Food & drinks were all very yummy & our view of the Bayfront was really pretty.
