The staff was incredibly kind, and the food was amazing. Our sommelier (sorry I can’t remember her name) explained the wines in a way that was easy to understand even though i’m not used to drink wine. Thanks to her, we chose great wines that perfectly paired with our steak and seafood. It was an incredible experience..

The ambience is good and the servers are very welcoming. The prime rib was well-prepared with its sides, and the lobster was fresh and sweet. The oysters were also fresh, and the bread was nice, though a balsamic dip would be better than just olive oil and seasonings. Unfortunately, several dishes were disappointing. The complimentary cake for occasions was of low quality. The bone marrow was extremely salty, overpowering to the point of frustration. The dry-aged bone-in striploin, priced at $69.95 for 18 oz, was very chewy and did not reflect the quality expected, leaving me very disappointed. Cocktails were also overpriced and lacked refinement; I wouldn’t recommend them. Overall, we came here for the food but left disappointed, especially after spending around $350. I do not recommend this restaurant. If you do plan to go, make sure to reserve ahead.

Should have known better than to come here when they had so many open reservations on a show night at the coliseum, that was the first red flag I missed.

I ordered the Thursday night special, the Cesar salad with 8oz filet, whipped potatoes, asparagus, and lobster. The price was good but the food was awful.

The soup of the day, offered as an option in place of the salad, was chicken gumbo. No sane person is having a bowl of chicken gumbo before a steak dinner.

The Cesar salad was utterly bland, the dressing was watery without a trace of garlic or seasoning. The lettuce was anemic, pale yellow instead of green, and they included the stump of the lettuce on the plate. The peameal bacon bits were cold and mushy, pale little ribbons with no hint they had ever been crisp. The only flavour the dish had at all was from the lemon wedge I squeezed over it.

The steak was ordered mid-rare but arrived Pittsburg rare, black on the outside and raw in the centre. It’s beyond disappointing that a restaurant billing itself as a high end steak house can’t nail a mid-rare filet of beef every time. Especially bad when you consider this is a weekly special that they presumably cook in significant quantities.

The whipped potatoes were bland and forgettable. The asparagus was peculiar, the flavours inconsistent from one end of the stock to the other. It had no visible seasoning but tasted as though it had been in contact with both seafood and Tabasco sauce in places. The only rational explanation I can come to is that it wasn’t cooked in a clean pan.

On top of all of that my entree arrived a full 20 minutes after the entree of the friend I was dining with. This is especially confusing because nothing in my meal would have even taken 20 minutes to prepare.

Overall it was a solid one star meal and a waste of $150

Nice steak house with knowledgeable staff.
Ive been here before and it is really good.
Last night I had to sit at the bar because restaurant was full. Female bartender was very friendly and appears to have a following of regulars that were all happy to see her.
Ordered some fresh oysters and the Seared scallops with a lobster Thermidor sauce over mashed potatoes along with a side lobster tail. To drink I ordered a bottle of Chablis.
A absolutely lovely female somallier came over with the wine and we chatted away for awhile. She is super knowledgeable but really nice and not pretentious.
My oysters were fresh and very good. A bit pricey but I guess it’s expected of an upscale steakhouse. The bartender recommended I order the Thermidor sauce on the side so I did. The scallops and lobster were super good. The sauce was ok. I’m glad she recommended to put it on the side because if it was poured over top of the scallops it would make the dish look like slop.
Would go back but wouldn’t order the scallops again.

The rib eye steak was amazing. But what made it great was the Server Peter. If you have the chance to request a seating area that he manages your meal will be mind blowing. From
Wine selection to cut and cooking of steak he knows his stuff.

Dinner went amazing. We have made a reservation and got the window seat like we hoped so. The food was absolutely delicious. The staff were friendly and made the whole experience feel special. I also really appreciated the atmosphere, it is elegant but relaxed, and not loud at all, which made it perfect for having a proper conversation. Food came out fast. Everything from the service to the setting felt just right. I was happy to get the window seat because the view of the river is wonderful! For all dessert lovers out there, cheesecake is a must try!

(The photo includes my Steak that i ordered medium.) Showed up with very high expectations, As my second time coming, The first time being with my Father. Brought my partner with me this time, Gave her very high hopes. Our waitress was beyond rude. Didn’t care to ask anything, (it was a birthday, she didn’t ask or anything) Just a very rude tone and behavior. As 2 Younger individuals. Felt very stereotyped as (not going to tip) Was not the case at all, I always tip very well there. The worst part. I ordered my steak Medium. It came out (At very MOST) RARE. The waitress then just says “Oh i’ll take it back i guess” I expected a new steak from a place like this. The same piece of meat came out then Slightly overcooked. And she leaves and never checked in on the table, if she did it was to collect the plates. (we still stacked and cleaned for her to come collect with basic respect) After finishing my food. She had said “ They’re going to give you a free dessert” Then took that order, Brought it out. And that part was okay. Then she brings out the bill. The dessert was charged. I made her take it back and take that off. Was very disappointed with that experience. Expected way higher standard, And level of respect. To end it i would usually tip very well there. However with that i was very upset, Yet still tipped $15. Everyone at the front desk was great, Just the service i had was very disappointing .

When me and my wife arrived, we were greeted with a friendly smile from the host. We were seated right away, with a great view of the detroit skyline. Our server Merin was very attentive and knowledgeable regarding the menu options, both of us ordered the Wednesday feature which was very enjoyable. Our steaks were cooked to perfection and the sides were a perfect compliment. Congratulations to Chef Deron and his team!
