Nepali Soul is not your typical Nepali or Southern restaurant—we are something different. Rooted in the rich culinary traditions of Nepal and the deep flavors of African-American Southern cuisine, our dishes are a bold celebration of both cultures. We specialize in fusion food that reflects our heritage and personal stories, blending spices, ingredients, and techniques to create something truly original.
Our menu selection offers a variety of Masala, Vegan options, and Southern Style cuisine. Our food is made fresh daily, giving our customers the best quality in taste and flavor. Nepali Soul isn’t just food—it’s culture served on a plate. Come and experience the flavors of fusion, “Where Spice Meets Soul”.

I had the Lamb Thali! Food is simply amazing. The lamb is cooked to perfection, the fried cabbage and rice are an awesome pair for it. I’m not a black eyed pea fan but somehow they defied the odds and so yummy! The candied yams are to die for! If Nepali or soul food are your jams you are in for a treat! The service and prep times are on point! Give them a try and feel your taste buds explode in delight! Thank you for the amazing food! Definitely coming back for the oxtail!

As the weather cools down, my family and I seized the opportunity to explore The Food Zone in New Caney, discovering innovative eateries along the way. We stumbled upon Nepali Soul, tucked away in the back corner, and were blown away by the explosive flavors of the Oxtail, expertly paired with cabbage and black eyed peas. The restaurant was bustling with people savoring every bite, a testament to its exceptional cuisine. If you’re in the area, do yourself a favor and stop by – you won’t be disappointed! We can’t wait to return and embark on a culinary journey through their menu!

Everything about this plate is perfection. The Southern oxtails are tender, flavorful, and beautifully spiced, and the sides complement them so well. Even the marigold lemonade has a comforting warmth to it. You can taste the love in every bite.

The food here is top notch! Have tried something different each time and each time I have been impressed. So much flavor! The people there are also just as amazing as the food, they offer free samples to make sure you find something that you will really like! I recommend the Chicken Marsala fries or ox tails! 10/10!

First time at Nepali Soul. The staff was so friendly and helpful and the food was absolutely delicious. And so filling! I ordered the chicken thali and it comes with rice, cabbage, sweet potatoes and black eyed peas. Definitely enough for two meals for me.

Excellent service and friendly folks. I got the oxtails, rice, cabbage and candied yams. Oxtails were delicious, cabbage was spot on. My only drawback is that the oxtails were more bone than meat. Huge tailbone piece and the meat was very hard to separate from the bone. A few loose pieces of meat. There should be no bone and gristle in a dish that goes for $32. Otherwise I would try it again and hope for no bone and gristle. $39 with food, soft drink and a tip.

My experience at Nepali Soul was exceptional! The service was fast and incredibly friendly—it truly felt like being at home. The food was savory, filling, and full of flavor. The meat was perfectly tender, especially the oxtail, and the lamb was packed with rich seasoning. I had never tried gulab jamun before, but after tasting it, I had to order some to go—I’m officially hooked! Even though it’s a bit of a drive for me from Conroe, it’s absolutely worth it. I’ll definitely be coming back.
