Talk about a taste test of home! These two gals are from Chicago. So are we. So finding a sandwich spot that reminds us of that is great. We come here quite often. Love the Goonies (it’s their Italian sandwich. I tried their meatball sandwich the Rocky and it was great. Good conversation and good food. Oh! Also chili is dynamite. Oh, also, Ice cream!

What a wild store in downtown Hampshire. I got a classic Chicago sub. It was okay, could have had more fixings for the price. The star here is the decor, the 80s theme is masterfully executed. Walking around and staying at the walls was a trip back to my childhood. Will definitely check them out again and try other items on the menu

This was my first time here and am sorry it took me so long. I ordered the ‘Don’ and it was the ‘Don’. They say it’s the most popular and I can see why. The sandwich was built perfectly and delicious. There was a nice amount of meat and dressings along with how can you go wrong with fresh Turano bread. It’s a fun sandwich/ice cream shop with a bit of a nostalgia theme. They also carry ‘Dirty Chips’ which are a great accompaniment to their sangwiches. I am already looking forward to my next visit.

This isn’t just a great sub sandwich shop for the food but a great atmosphere of 80’s nostalgia decor and music. I highly recommend stopping while in Hampshire or make a detour and enjoy it’s worth the drive!

We took my mom for a ride yesterday and decided to come here for lunch. The food was tasty and the prices were about the same if you go to a chain…I’d rather go to a mom and pop. The staff was very friendly and loved the decor. Also the choice of ice cream flavors was top notch. I would totally go back to see more rad decorations that won’t gag you with a spoon…lol

Delicious and fresh made sandwiches. Also you must try the soup. Absolutely hearty and comforting soup. The show stopper was definitely the new Stranger Things themed shake that was a delicious blend of strawberries, ice cream and cookies! Yum!

Great little spot found my new favorite go to sandwich shop. I like to support small businesses especially good ones. Support local families! This delivers the food and a really great atmosphere. Everything we had was fresh tasting and done very well. Wish we had a cool joint like this over in Genoa to hang out at, but I’ll make the short drive to get sandwiches in the future. The menu is fun and the Don was the best. We’ll definitely be back.

This place is awesome!! The ice cream is amazing, the employees are fast and friendly. The decor is unique and totally 80’s! The colors and atmosphere is what you would expect from a small town ice cream shop. We also had the sub sandwiches, very good! I’ll give this place TWO thumbs up!!

Stopped in just to see. Ended up ordering a couple of milkshakes! Sat outside on a bench to enjoy our Holiday shakes. Will return to try a sub sandwich on a future visit. Neat ice cream flavors available too!
Update on this post: Just got a couple sub sandwiches for dinner tonight. Was very pleased with the freshness and size of our sandwiches. Since we had never tried them, we opted to pay the up charge for extra meat on my husbands. His sandwich was defiantly “man-sized”.

Amazing food and ice cream. The sandwitches, soups, salads all is just perfect and ohh so good even my picky eater approves. And ofcourse the Ice Cream, I think at this point we tried them all and cant do wrong with any of them. But what we appreciate the most is the wonderfull service everytime we go they are just awesome. Everything tastes better when the service is also amazing.
