Such a fun concept! It’s an AYCE buffet for revolving sushi. They have a ton of selection, and the quality of their fish is pretty good. The whole place is very clean and dishes on the revolving belt is refilled regularly. Overall we loved our meal and will 100% come back.

I was seeing a concert at the Fillmore down the way from this restaurant and decided to try it after loving a different conveyor belt sushi place in Illinois. I think I was spoiled by that different location.
This place was incredibly mid. Small selection of items, both on the conveyor belt and on the ordering tablet. They were not quick on adding sushi to empty sections of the belt, and I found myself waiting a few rotations before I saw the items updated. Sushi felt like it was sitting for several rotations (a few pieces I had seemed glued to the plate almost), and the the deep fried pieces I had tasted sweet like it was pancake batter rather then tempura. I really wish there was an option to order certain rolls on the tablet to be delivered to your table.
For some reason as a solo diner I was sat at a large table rather than one of the solo-dining chairs they had which I found odd. I think my favorite part was the fact drinks are self-serve, and the food you can order on the tablet was delicious and fresh and 100% the best part of my experience here at Neo Sushi. The price isn’t too bad as well for AYCE. iirc I spent $20ish after a small tip.
Overall, my experience here at Neo Sushi was mediocre at best. I think I’ll head to a legit sushi place next time and skip the novelty of this location.

I came for dinner on a Saturday night. Sometimes you have to look for parking, but luckily there were spots out front. I was immediately helped and everything was explained. I was able to get my drink and all the condiments I wanted. I like how all the condiments are self-serve. I sat down and I was ready to start. Throughout the meal, I ordered several things off the iPad including hibachi steak and crab Rangoon. It did take a bit to come out, but I didn’t mind because of the conveyer belt. I do wish the iPads were connected by a cord because the interface is hard to see as the iPad is in a cage on one end of the table. Also, the interface is a bit laggy as the iPads are from before 2020. On the converter belt, I had many dishes including edamame, cheesecake, sashimi, and many sushi rolls. I enjoyed rolls, such as the Raleigh roll, Queen roll, naughty crab roll, shrimp tempura roll, volcano roll, etc. Ironically they did not have a standard Philadelphia roll. There was the Las Vegas roll, but it was a deep fried version. There were periods throughout the meal, where there was literally almost no food on the belt. I’m not sure what was going on there. While waiting I did enjoy their playlist of music.I did try the salmon and tuna sashimi. They were definitely not as high quality, but the price justifies it. Speaking of that, the price is amazing. It is only around $18 for dinner and the food is unlimited. I had not been here since 2021 and I am amazed the price is still the same. There are several unlimited sushi experiences in Charlotte, but this one is by far the best value and unique experience. In fact, they are now called Neo Sushi Express. Next time you are in Charlotte make sure to stop by.

It’s quite unique with the sushi coming out on conveyor belt style rollers. The quality of the sushi is great and it’s unlimited. The one down side is the fact that it is a conveyor belt. If you’re seated near the beginning, you have a plentiful option of sushi to grab. If you’re seated near the end, you could wait 2-3 rotations to get a single piece of a popular sushi.

Amazing place for some quick sushi. They had a great variety of sushi and as a bonus you get to each all.you want from a conveyor belt! We will definitely be coming back.

For a sushi gourmet this is not the place, very mediocre taste. The idea is really cool, and that’s what attracts people here. It is “All you can eat”, including the ordered food from the pad at the table. I liked that the portions are small so you can try different. The atmosphere is a bit more on the cheap canteen style. Service is good, fast, responsive, they come to your table and pick up your little plates regularly.

Our family of 6 loves this place! Even though the name recently changed, nothing else did. How many plates will you score stacking?

I went in at 6:30 on a Wendsday for the first and last time. There was not a single table in there. Sushi all over conveyer belt circling with no guests in building. The smell of the establishment turned my stomach it was so bad… it made me wonder how long had that sushi been riding that belt?! It can’t be quality fish because the amount of food they must waste has to be atrocious. We walked in and walked right out. The smell I could not handle. Do better.

I’ve liked this place the past two times I came before. I don’t know if my food poisoning is random chance or has something to do with the rebrand, but regardless I got food poisoning from this restaurant.
I went Sunday afternoon with a party of 5 friends. My partner fell ill Monday afternoon. I felt sick starting Tuesday morning. Another friend fell ill around the same time as me.
Based on our preferences, I believe the offending sushi was the salmon.
I encourage other dinners to find a different restaurant.

The first thing I did when I arrived was tell them it was my first time.
They explained everything to me about how it works.
-The food isn’t good.
-They gave me a table at the end of the route and almost nothing arrived.
-They should organize the logistics better.
-They never collected my plates at any time.
…The only thing I was able to enjoy was the cheesecake.
