The birria pizza looks amazing! No, I haven’t tried it yet but I’ve seen someone order one so I saw it get made.
I have stuck with the tacos, quesadillas, and consommé. Every filling I’ve tried has been great. I feel like flour tortillas is a new option for Nenes. The birria taco only comes with corn tortilla because they put it on the grill to get it crispy. Tried that for the first time on my last visit. Will definitely work that into my rotation with adobada and asada.
Be warned, the quesadillas are huge (and a great value) so make sure you’re hungry! They’re a little messy to eat so give yourself a little extra time to not end up wearing or dropping a lot of the quesadilla

My partner and I got the birria tacos combo which was super affordable especially since we got a drink. The service was very good and recommended us to get the combo, very lovely.
This was the most delicious tacos I’ve had, compared to the other places I’ve gone. The tacos itself had a good crunch and wasn’t soggy at all, made on the spot beef. The beef itself was packed full of flavor and had a perfect amount of onion, cilantro and cheese! The cheese itself was very melted that I got a cheese pull. With the combo we got a consume cup to dip our birria tacos, it was so savory and delicious. I would definitely come again to try the Jamaica drink as well!
Horchata drink was sweet and creamy. It tastes more milky. Pretty good taste.

i would have liked my lengua cut into smaller pieces, but it was delicious
soft, tender, flavorful & the habanero pickled onions !! i havent had that in YEARS!!!

Nene’s taqueria gave me some of the best Mexican food I have ever had. I highly recommend the chicken quesadilla on the corn tortilla and put all the additional sauces on it. Be aware that there isn’t much seating in the restaurant if you’re planning to dine in. Nonetheless, the food was absolutely stellar!

Really good food. The shells are crunchy which adds great texture. Barria meat is tender and flavored well. Consume is the perfect dip but too salty to drink on its own.

Came here for the birria tacos, and they did not disappoint. Love the flavor and warmth they have. We came at rush hour so we waited a bit but like always, it was worth it. Will start coming here after work since their prices are really good!

Legendary place. Been here a few times, the food is always so incredible. I always order too much (because it’s so good), and have some leftovers the next day. Which is a nice problem to have. Absolutely recommended!

Great food and reasonably priced- I order at least once a week here. Husband loves the burritos, having tried all of them at least once. I prefer the tacos. The free onions, peppers, and sauces are just the icing on the cake. Only real downside is that it can take a long time sometimes but that only speaks to how good it is! Space is small so we usually do takeout

This is one of the best places for tacos in Brooklyn. I ordered the birria taco and the al pastor taco. I also got the birria empanada. All three were delicious nice and juicy. The Horchata was also very tasty. I paid $18.00 total so the price is decent. I also loved the aesthetics in there. I highly recommend this place.
