First time at Neme Gastro-bar and loved it. Primarily went because on Monday’s everything in the menu is 50% off. Didn’t expect for the place to have such a great vibe with live performances. From the food to the drink, everything was suparb which is rare nowadays. When we arrived the place was full and we were seated on a sofa in the second level until a table became available. The servers were also great. After midnight the place turns into a club with a live dj. There is a rear outdoor area where people can enjoy their drinks, play dominoes or smoke a cigar. Definitely a must visit. We had sangrias, fried tuna chunks and grilled octopus.

This place has become one of my go-to spots in Miami for live music. The programming is consistently strong, the vibe is real, and you actually feel the community when you walk in—musicians, producers, artists, and people who genuinely care about culture all crossing paths in one room.
What I appreciate most is that it doesn’t feel forced or over-curated. It feels alive. You can discover new talent, reconnect with people in the scene, and have meaningful conversations in the same night. Sound is solid, energy is right, and the overall experience keeps me coming back.
The owner, managers, and staff are amazing. The service is superb and contributes to the incredible energy of the place. With a killer menu, a kitchen that closes at 1:00 AM, and weekend hours that run very late (sometimes early morning ), it gets even better after a show.
If you care about live music and the arts, this is one of those places that still feels authentic.

A thousand rules about hats, shorts and dress code that only apply if you are not friends with the owners or staff. You are a bar for locals in coral way, get over yourself, nobody cares about dress code. I gave it a try but i will definitely never cme back and will keep going to the real and friendly neighborhood bars like the brightside, the bar, bay13 and similar in the area. Absolutely not recommended.

$58 at the bar for a vodka w pineapple juice and a black label with sprite, with whatever tip they wanted apparently added to the bill because no receipt was given or shown!!!! That’s ok…. they gain a few bucks but lose returning customers!

This is one of the best music spots in Miami, the food is good too. The staff behind the bar is excellent as well and I everything about it – except, there is one reason why I am reluctant to never go back. The owner (Neme) is very rude and does not seem to appreciate his clientele…I’ve frequented the place and spent quite a nice sum and tip very well. But this guy manages the restaurant as if he takes customers for granted and does not hesitate to chew clients out with a loud tone. I hope he pays his employees well and the (awesome) musicians who perform there. Frankly, I don’t think he deserves to own this place…it’s too good for him.

Before I start, the correct name of this restaurant is Neme Gastro Bar. Now that we got that out of the way, Neme is a little hidden jewel in the heart of Shenandoah, nestled between gorgeous Coral Gables and fancy Brickell. The food is damn good, but the service and atmosphere is out of this world.
I had the best octopus in the area, and I should remind you that this area is surrounded by a bunch of Portuguese restaurants (which are arguably experts in serving the best octopus in the area, if not the world). The shrimp cocktail was fresh and came with two sauces, and the tiraditos were good, but not amazing. However, the cocktails were on point. I had a mojito and a couple of Strawberry Jazz and they were all perfectly balanced and delicious. Did I say they have a live band every night? Well, except Wednesdays, which is Karaoke night . Highly recommend this hole in the wall.

A lively neighborhood bar that’s great for dancing on the weekends when it really comes alive. During the week, it has a more relaxed vibe, perfect for enjoying drinks and good company. A fun spot no matter when you go.

Terrible place. Food not that good, small and pricey. If you want to stay later they ask you to buy a $300 bottle (not for friends). They add 2 Service charge one 4% and another one 18% (my guess is the tip) . They cant explain the 4%. Food ain’t well presented and cheap. The host was ok, but they took forever to serve the food. Do not go there, total rip off.

The Cubanest corner of Miami —this spot feels like stepping right back home. Live music, dancing, and a show every single night keep the energy high, while the cheap cover and solid drinks make it an easy go-to. It’s cozy without being cramped, lively without being overwhelming, and always filled with that warm, familiar Cuban spirit. If you’re homesick, or just want to be surrounded by la buena vibra, this is where you go.

The place has potential to be great but they need to replace their hostess and security personnel at the front. All of them have a bad attitude and based on other reviews many have had the same experience. Also, after 12am you can only sit at a table if you’re buying a bottle which is weird since this is a gastrobar/lounge and not a club (even with plenty open tables, see photo). Pros: it was clean, set-up was nice and drinks were reasonably priced but they need to address security and front door staff.
