I would say that this was a great place for food definitely if you ever wanted rolls you would love it. The pork roll was great and addition the pork spring roll was great and there was a dish that came in many dishes and it was rice steamed rice crêpe. That was also good. Yay! Yummy vietnamese spring rolls in the 626! Dare I say, its better than the well known place in Westminster.
The rolls here do not skimp on vegetables and shrimp. Their egg roll is also rolled w shrimp.
I ordered the shrimp paste and salmon belly roll. Both were delightful.

Came to Nem as a recommendation from my friends. Absolutely didn’t disappoint. The food was top notch but the staff and hospitality were even more amazing.

Third time at this establishment, food was top notch and service was excellent. Draft beer selection is great. Portion size is huge and the prices are reasonable. Pho, Bun Bo Hue, Nem, and their coffee. Highly recommended.! They have many different dishes that I will definitely try next time… banh xeo, banh beo and nem chua to go is a must!!

This is hands down my favorite Vietnamese restaurant in SGV. I’ve lived here for 25 years, and this place has been my go-to for a long time. The food is always fresh and delicious, and the restaurant is super clean. I always get the dry vermicelli — the lemongrass beef is packed with flavor, and the shrimp rolls are crispy and so good. They’ve got a nice variety of beers too, which makes it a fun spot to hang out with friends. The owners are always around, super friendly, and you can tell they really care about keeping the place in great shape.

I bite into the roll and my mouth is greeted with an umami crunch. An aromatic herbaceous fills the rest of the bite. This is my first time here so I only ordered this dish to taste a classic.

This is the real deal nem nuong cuon.

Summer Rolls is an OG in the SGV. And, this newest branch appears to be the product of careful intention. Not just a hastily made expansion.

Great space. The aunties are nice.

+Parking is OK in the crowded lot with overflow in the back.
+Cashless Payments available.
+Clean restroom

Will be back to try the rest of the menu.

Great service and friendly staff. The place gets packed but they handle the crowd efficiently. It’s very loud inside — hard to hold a conversation. The restaurant is well-designed and nicely maintained, with clean single restroom. Portions are generous for the price, and they load up on vegetables, which is rare these days. The food is good — not quite excellent — but overall a solid value and definitely worth it in today’s economy.

Id like to start this review by saying I had to edit this review because of the comments made by Nem. My order is as follows:
1 order house special pho
1 order banh xeo
2 order of pho tai filet mignon
1 com tam lemongrass chicken, cha, bi
2 orders of goi coun ( 8 rolls)

Came for lunch with family. Ordered at 12:47 PM. Large order, but the food itself was not the problem. The service was.

Service was slow, disorganized, and inattentive. Dishes came out one at a time, making it impossible to eat together. One pho was delivered to the wrong person. Family members received their food at different times. The pho my girlfriend and I ordered took over 35 minutes. One bowl arrived just as I was about to cancel; the second came later.

When I tried to cancel the delayed order, the server repeatedly guilt-tripped me instead of listening. There was no warning that pho at a Vietnamese restaurant would take over 35 minutes. The only explanation given was that it was “busy.”

Poor communication, poor coordination, and unacceptable service.

As a big fan of summer rolls, I was excited to see a new Nem location open closer to me. Came by on a weekday and the place was already pretty packed. I ordered the Bánh hỏi with nem—vermicelli noodles with grilled pork sausage—and it came with a fresh plate of herbs and veggies to wrap it all up in. I’ve had this dish at their other spots and this one held up just as well.

Also grabbed their nem spring rolls to go—tasted just as good, and I’m a big fan of the orange dipping sauce they include.

Only downsides: service felt slow and the plaza parking is a nightmare. That said, I’d definitely come back—probably for takeout next time.

Nem Summer Roll, the newly opened sister shop of Summer Roll in Temple City, brings the same delicious flavors to a fresh, modern space. Located in a chic shopping plaza next to Paris Baguette, the interior is bright and inviting, with well-lit decor that feels contemporary and welcoming.

The menu mirrors that of its sibling locations, with the notable addition of pho. We went with our usual favorites—banh beo and grilled pork with broken rice and an egg roll. The flavors were just as tasty and consistent with the other branches, though we did notice that the banh beo here was slightly overcooked, making the texture a bit firmer than ideal. That aside, everything else was spot on.

Service was excellent, just like at their other locations—attentive, friendly, and efficient. The only downside is the parking situation. The plaza itself is tight, but there are side street options and a public parking area nearby.

Overall, Nem Summer Roll is a great expansion of the brand, delivering the same quality food and service. With a bit of fine-tuning on the banh beo, this spot will be just as solid as its predecessors. Definitely worth a visit!
