Great place. Good food. Great service. Good selection of beers and liquor. No frills no B’s just great food. When in town on business avoid steakhouses and pizza places and all of that fufu BS and get you a good American Burger. Go during happy hour and roll the dice!

While I was very busy, I ordered directly by phone – a single Nelson Burger with cheese and everything the way it comes. It was ready and bagged when I swung by and check out only took seconds. The burger was delicious and juicy. The lettuce, tomato, onions were all fresh and crisp. I highly recommend their burgers and will definitely be back.

Nice spot, Friendly staff. I thought the fries could use some salt or seasoning, but overall, it was a great lunch. I may pop in on a Tuesday or Wednesday to play poker one day soon.

While in town on a college tour one of the students wanted burgers. We were staying at the Hyatt and found that this place was in walking distance. It was a good pick. Nice personal space. They happen to be having some kind of video game tournament there (said it’s every Monday) but that didn’t bother us because we sat at the bar. If not, space would have been limited to sit at the tables. Starr was manning things and was very friendly. It took no time for our orders to come up and we really enjoyed our food. He got the mushroom burger and it was huge. I got the western. My burger was hot and juicy. Ans my crinkle fries were cooked just right. I will not that although this is a “burger” spot they had a good bit of variety to the menu. I wasn’t expecting that. They also serve alcohol if you want to wash your food down with an adult beverage. If you are near FAMU or FSU check them out

Came across this place on route back to our hotel, was interesting, they had some happy hour offers on which was nice if not a little odd, they needed you to roll a dice to establish what you get. Apps were happy hour too with 50% off. Unfortunately in the process of sorting the bill they didn’t get reduced. The food was ok, some came quickly, some got forgotten, but it tasted fine. Drinks were good. Portion sizes for some of the food was impressive!

If these weren’t the worst chili dogs I have ever had in my entire life, they were a close second. Not to mention that they are terribly overpriced and the place is depressing. I paid 16$ for 2 miserable dogs I will not be going back, ever.

Decided to go to Nelson’s today because of all the posts. It was delicious! Parking was a little difficult, but worth the food. Service was on point. Drinks refilled right away without asking. Condiments brought out without asking. Food hot and fresh. Honestly, my favorite was the coleslaw. Burgers cooked well, but still juicy. No IPA’s on draft, but they had canned. Check them out! Came out to about $50 with tip for two people.
