Can’t say enough great things about this adorable woman-owned bakery! Nelly was a breeze to work with. Excellent communication, fast response time and accommodating to every request. It was very important to us to support local business and I’m so glad we landed on Nelly’s treats. Everyone at our event raved about the cupcakes and asked where they were from. My only two regrets are that I didn’t get more business cards as a couple guests were fighting over them (I had them take pictures instead) and that they all went so fast that I didn’t get a chance to try a vanilla. But it’s the perfect excuse to order again. OH, and most importantly, her prices were incredibly fair and reasonable. Run, don’t walk!

We recently hosted our daughter’s 4th birthday party at Nelly’s Treats, and I cannot say enough good things about the experience! Our theme was Wicked, and Nelly absolutely nailed it—from the stunning, on-theme cake (which was as delicious as it was beautiful) to the perfectly curated cookie cutters (witch hats and crowns).
Nelly is not only incredibly organized, but she’s also absolutely fabulous with children. She masterfully managed a group of 15 kids ranging from ages 2 to 7—no small feat! Every single child was engaged, learned something about baking, and had so much fun doing it. Her calm, confident presence made everything run smoothly, and as a parent, it was such a relief to not have to lift a finger. I got to enjoy the day right alongside my daughter.
The party included homemade pizza, which was a huge hit with both kids and adults—it was fresh, tasty, and just added to the personalized touch that makes Nelly’s Treats so special.
The space itself is bright, beautiful, and incredibly versatile. You can bring in your own decorations to customize it, or leave it as-is—it’s lovely either way. I was genuinely super impressed with every detail, from start to finish.
If you’re looking for a unique, fun, and stress-free party experience for your child, I highly recommend Nelly’s Treats. It was truly a magical day we’ll never forget!

We went to Nellys Treats to get a cake and cupcakes for my two year olds birthday. We try not to give her too much processed sugar so we discussed making a naked Encanto themed cake. the cake and cupcakes were vanilla with a blueberry filling. The cupcakes had a cream cheese frosting. When I tell you EVERYONE at our friend and family parties loved the cake and cupcakes including my two year old. She devoured the cupcakes. The cake had some beautiful regular decorations and I found it to be the perfect amount out sweet. Also the size of the cake was huge. So I ended freezing some of the cake and still enjoy it with some coffee when I want a treat. Thank you Nellys Treats for making the perfect sweets for our little girls birthday. If you’re looking for a local woman owned bakery to support, don’t hesitate! Nellys is amazing!

My experience at Nellys treats Bakery was wonderful. The bakery is beautiful and smells amazing The owner as well as the cooking class instructor are incredibly sweet and the youth class was so fun The kids were able to meet new friends and create some delicious treats 10/10!

My husband and I rented out Nelly’s Treats Bakery for our daughter’s second birthday party at the end of March. The space was so cozy and intimate, perfect for a smaller gathering of family and close friends. Renel was so lovely in making us feel invited to the space, she allowed us to arrange the tables and chairs and hang decorations as we liked. Our family and friends loved the vibe!
We also ordered a 6” custom birthday cake for the occasion. Renel created a beautiful cake based on inspiration photos I sent. My guests were so impressed. The cake was very good! Two small criticisms were that the cake was not fully defrosted and I think this may have made the cake a bit denser in texture than you would get if it was not frozen. But everyone still loved it!

I needed a 1/2 special design sheet cake with only a 2 day lead time and Nelly’s came through wonderfully. Everyone commented on how delicious the cake was and how special it looked. It’s not easy to get that level of service.

I ordered a cake for my daughter’s sweet sixteen. We just moved here, and we were not sure where to order the cake from. So, when we came across this bakery and its perfect rating, we thought we hit the jackpot. However, we would be proven wrong. This was our first customized cake and our expectations were not high—but not low either. Unfortunately, as you can see, their performance made us wish we had lowered our expectations. My daughter was extremely excited for the design she picked out, but we were all disappointed when we saw the result. It looked like it was rushed. We thought it was such a simple design that couldn’t be messed up. They changed the design a lot, including not doing the whole top of the design and not painting the leaves of the very few strawberries they did decide to put on the side of the cake. The cake was also cracked from the sides. They also had the audacity to put little dollops randomly with real strawberries to “make up” for their lack of effort. The taste did not make up for the appearance either. It was quite sugary and the texture was wet. We saw the other reviews for this bakery, and we can’t help but think that it was just a bad day. Very disappointed. Would not be purchasing from this bakery again.

The owner of Nelly’s treats is amazing. I had a “cake emergency” caused by a snafu at another bakery. At the VERY last minute, she stayed late on a Saturday afternoon and whipped up a replacement for my daughter’s birthday party. The cupcakes she made were delicious, beautiful and much appreciated. We have also taken the toddler baking classes a few times with my 4-year old. They are wonderful experiences. I highly recommend this bakery!
