When you first walk towards this food truck, you see a run-down, battered-up broken truck, covered in paint that is washing away. The menu shown beside the truck features pictures that look unapealing with labels that are unclear. The staff doesn’t speak English which makes it difficult to communicate. I only ended up ordering due to the fact that I had read good reviews, if I had just stumbled onto this truck there is no way I would have even considered eating there. The actual food is mediocre with the steak being extremely oily, the chicken dry, and the rice tasteless and mushy. The only decent thing was the beans. Around the truck there are a few tables which are breaking apart and covered in dust. There are also flies swarming everywhere. Please consider this before coming here.

BEST MEXICAN FOOD ON THE ISLAND! The fried tacos were the bomb! The rice was really fluffy and beans were so good. Nice covered area to eat with music playing in the background. Most authentic Mexican food, the owners are from Mexico and have had their food truck here for 14+ years! Seriously don’t miss out on this hidden gem!

We had so much fun meeting these great people and, of course, eating their tacos! Tucked behind the must eat spot for shrimp you will find $1 tacos on select nights and only a few bucks any night you visit. Fantastic tortillas and delicious fillings. It is a good day on the Northshore when you can find dinner for under ten bucks and be very happy with it.

Got the Chicken street taco plate, medium salsa, and it was pretty good, the ultimate judge being my son who ate most of it. Good fresh ingredients, great tortillas and sauce, service was mostly just pointing to a sign to share what you wanted. Of the three places we ate (here, Giovanni’s, and Huli Huli chicken) in this food truck area, I’d call this the best one of the three, would def eat here again.
