First time in my life having a fresh lobster roll and this place did not disappoint. The toasted bun. The celery. Everything was delicious.
We also got an order of clams. Wasn’t my favorite but each to their own. Wasn’t expecting it to be deep fried by the description on the menu.

What a great spot! Excellent spot for a casual lunch. We dropped in on our way to Pugwash. I ate the lobster roll and I honestly think it was the best I’ve ever had. Huge chunks of lobster and the roll was so fresh. The haddock and chips were great too. Fresh cut fries cannot be faked! Seafood chowder was so good that we dropped in on our way back to are bnb to pick up more lobster rolls, seafood chowder and then discovered the home made pie selection.
Honestly, a great find.

For the quality of the food it was overpriced, 2 x 2 PC fish and chips with fries and no beverages was $32 and change.
I really wanted to love it, there were so many great reviews. But we honestly felt gross after our lunch and won’t be back.
Portion size: It did seem like a lot, but it was a lot of batter and a lot greasy fries. I had to eat my fish without the batter, and yes the fish itself is good, but minus the batter there isn’t much left.

Well I went to Nelly’s today with my mum and we had the fish and chips. The fish was really good, but the fries were not all that good. They looked like they were old and just reheated. The coleslaw was good. Overall I would go back if I was to get fresh fries next time.

This place is an absolute dream. They people are very friendly and their food is absolutely amazing. Good size portions for a reasonable price. Now, with the addition of the Labor Day Corn Boil, there is no better place to be. This first corn boil was fantastic. As always, it’s a super friendly place to be. My entire family loved the corn, which was really tasty and dipped in hot butter. Loive entertainment also made for a great time.
All combined, it is the place to be.

Best seafood chowder we have had so far! Portions are generous, fish and chips were not greasy and the deep fried pickles are a must try. Staff are super friendly and service is quick. Lots of easy parking, picnic tables for take-out and clean bathrooms.

While this is a small place it is still worth the stop. Excellent service and our food was delicious. I had the best potato soup I’ve had in a while. My husband had lasagna and it was also great. Definitely recommend this place and will go back when we are in the area.

Came with my extended family, which was a group of 20+. The amazing staff handled it easily and service was super quick! Everyone (ages 9-86) enjoyed their food, lots of throwbacks like the hamburger sandwich with gravy and mashed potatoes. Worth the visit!
