Really delicious meal. Our group had the mixed grill, pasta Alfredo, sliders, bacon wrapped scallops, Brussels sprouts, Beers, mimosa and sake Bloody Mary. All fantastic! Order at the counter and they bring the food to your table. Low key, but high cuisine.

After reading reviews we decided to give Nelly’s a try. It was a Monday night. Not crowded. Service is immediate because you order at a service bar when you walk in.
There was a tuna roll special. We came for the Wagyu beef sliders and regretted mixing them up with the tuna roll.
The sliders were excellent. The roll not so much. Maybe best to stick with their core menu and be cautious of the specials?

Holy Macaroon, this place was phenomenal.
My friend and I are both gluten free and it was incredible so see so many things on the menu available to us, AND taste fantastic. I got the Risotto as well as the Scallops, she had the salmon, and we also ordered the chocolate mouse for dessert 10/10, all the stars. Wow.

Fantastic restaurant. Great food, service and value. The food is so much better than your typical mountain town food. The dishes all have a creative twist. Meatballs and kids pasta was great. Brussels sprouts amazing and garden salad with figs just perfect. Margs come from a can but they are better than 9/10 bars in Texas make.
Really good homemade food

A wonderful surprise. Don’t be fooled by the counter ordering and the casual (but very friendly) vibes, the food is top notch. Thoughtful preparation that puts the spotlight on excellent ingredients. Highlights for me were the maple brussel sprouts and the mini risotto cakes with a perfect marinara.

We came for dinner on a Friday night after experiencing Toast & Eggs on our last trip to VT. We got the chicken bites and both got the prime rib Friday night special! It was delicious and very filling. Also not overly busy!

I was in town for a wedding with my aunt and uncle this past weekend and because my uncle is in a wheelchair and unable to stand we had trouble finding a place to eat on Friday night. We arrived into town around 7:30 and after a few attempts to find somewhere with wheelchair accessibly a patron at another establishment recommended Nelly’s. By this time is was now closer to 8 pm we pulled up to an empty parking lot and were greeted by the owner who said come on in.
Once we were seated a very friendly waitress took our orders and within mins our delicious meals . The waitress was so helpful in solving another issue that I was worried about for the following day. Again the owner came over and sold us on their very yummy desserts and both helped us out to the car. This is definitely a don’t judge a book by its cover situation.

Upscale family food at a tremendous value. Also healthy and clean. The only thing I would change is better marketing as this is by far the best value in the Mad River Valley. And the lighting warmed to 2700 Kelvin with some fixture changes and on table down lighting. This place is a GEM! They also fed me well one night after closing. There was no where else open and they had shut down but the chef gave me full run of the menu, one of the best cooked salmon I ever had. The nicest chef and waitstaff you will ever meet!!
