We came to Nellie’s because it was highly recommended. We ordered a burger with a side plus added a side to share. The size of the burger was plenty to share. Great taste!

We were traveling in our motorhome from Bismarck ND to Rapid City SD when we came across Nellie’s Saloon. Even though we had food in our motorhome, based on appearance we decided to have lunch at Nellie’s. We were rewarded with excellent service and great food. The “Special” that day was pulled pork on a hoagie with fries and cole slaw and we were offered “house” BBQ sauce as well. Everything was exceptional. This very unique establishment is also a Post Office and a convenience store. The saloon decor is perfect; not overdone or pretentious. It is a long way from anywhere, but if you are in the area, it is worth a visit.

Stopped by to use the potty in the middle of the grasslands. Small Mercantile with plenty of amenities. Saloon wasn’t open at the time of our stop but looked to be very spacious and very clean!
