We had , bread and butter ($9, but was delicious) Nona Nella meat balls, burrata salad, pinza Bianca, steak and frites and affogato. All the food was simple and very good. Just the dessert wasn’t what we expected, kind of disappointed after very nice and good meal.
Normal portion, fresh and quality ingredients, good taste.
A little pricey but I think the place, the area , service and good food justified pay a little more.
The service was excellent and efficient specially the busser and adult Mexican man. He was very nice, polite and super friendly we enjoyed talking to him.
The ambience is very nice , elegant and delicate.
It’s a place that I will return without thinking.
I hope if you are in the area , give them a chance .

Nella Kitchen offers world-class service and incredibly delicious food. We drove over an hour to get there, but we’d happily return again and again.
If you’re a bread lover, prepare to be amazed by their French baguette with salted Bordier butter. It’s absolutely delicious and pairs perfectly with Nonna Nella Meatballs.
The star of the show is their Pinsa! They’re perfectly crunchy and incredibly flavorful. We devoured their Black Truffle Pinsa, but I could have easily ordered the Pinsa and been very satisfied. It makes for an amazing appetizer for 2-4 people.
Other pinsas on the menu include Margherita, Bianca, Caponata, Guanciale & Squash, Carciofi, and Sausage & Rapini.
For dessert, highly recommend their profiteroles! They’re a very light and delicious cream puff with Chantilly and dark chocolate.

Nella Kitchen is associated with the Fess Parker Inn in Los Olivos. We ended up here because it looked really inviting for outside seating and the hostess was so lovely. We got drinks right away and our server was very informative. We ordered the salad of the day with the accommodation of a different lettuce. I would go back just for that! We shared that and the flatbread special pizza type served in very few places. The dough is unique, crispy but airy. The blackberry seasonal fruit sorbet was also a hit. We will be back!

Overall, the food and drinks were excellent and the vibe was perfect for a dinner date. The service could’ve been better, however. We waited 15min or so past our reservation time and on multiple occasions were waiting for our server to check in and bring wine.
– Green mile mocktail 5/5 (very refreshing!)
– House old fashioned 5/5
– Romini lettuce salad 4/5
– Tagliatelle bolognese 5/5 (must have!)
– Grilled pork chop 5/5 (must have!)

I’ve finally had the pleasure of visiting Nella Kitchen & Bar, the latest and luckiest establishment to have chosen Francois Renaud, a consummate professional in the world of wine and fine dining general management, directorship, and overall restaurant leadership. I first had the pleasure of meeting Francois and his team at the former, Wine House Kitchen in West Los Angeles, a place that will forever hold a cherished place of fond memories despite its absence in the Los Angeles dining scene. In learning of Francois’ decision to join the Nella team, I knew that it would be a worthy destination trip for us to dine for the evening. We were pleasantly rewarded with an establishment luxuriously appointed, with a warm inviting team, delicious food, and amazing wine, exactly what I’d hoped and expected. I highly recommend a visit and look forward to my next visit to Francois and his new home at Nella Kitchen & Bar in Los Olivos. Thank you Francois!

The Green Mile Mocktail was refreshing and delicious.
The lunch duck salad is a must if you like duck.
The leaf was my insert.
We only stay at Fess Parker’s and have learned to only eat here. Lunch and dinner

“Simply sublime”, We were fortunate to be served by Forrest, who made our visit unforgettable. We appreciated every suggestion, I loved my Italian beer, and we absolutely loved the truffle pizza. We consider Nella’s the best place we ate in Los Olivos during our entire vacation. Thank you for everything!

This place is seriously good. So much so that even on a Tuesday night is packed full so reservations are a must. Service is impeccable- well, they could slow down a bit when they read out the specials.
The venue itself is well maintained, super clean and wheelchair accessible. The patio is well heated during the colder evenings. The whole venue is very kid friendly and they offer high chairs but don’t have kids menu (which is not a problem for me – kiddo eats what we eat).
The food is really good. Sometime simple (fish or steak with potatoes and spinach) but cooked and seasoned to perfection.
The pinsas are surprisingly tasty. We had the artichoke one and it was so good!
The cocktails are similarly good. Overall, I wholeheartedly recommend this place.
PS: they have a patio but only welcome service animals, no pets

Came across this restaurant when we visit Los Olivos. The manager was super nice as well as our server Juan. I must say I’m really into truffle. Especially black not white truffles and their black truffle pizza was incredible. I usually don’t eat much pizza but with this pizza I almost finished the whole thing lol. It was a beautiful Monday night. Weather wasn’t too hot for summer days. I highly recommend this restaurant if you ever visited.

Incredible Food! If you don’t have a reservation they put you in a small back room by the kitchen. Fun to watch the kitchen but the atmosphere really lacked not being in the front room or on the patio. Definitely do a reservation otherwise I don’t recommend coming here.
