The food was delicious and served quickly. The sever was knowledgeable, but could’ve been a bit more present. The atmosphere was warm and vibrant on an otherwise frigid January evening. There is an amazing wine and whiskey selection here.

I had an incredible experience at Nektar in New Hope. The food was outstanding, from the truffle ravioli and grilled cheese to the truffle fries and honey tomato bruschetta, every dish was packed with flavor and beautifully presented. The atmosphere is cozy, stylish, and perfect for a night out.

A huge shoutout to Adam, who was an amazing server. He was attentive, friendly, and made great recommendations that took our experience to the next level. You can tell he really cares about giving guests a great time.

Highly recommend Nektar, can’t wait to come back!

I don’t usually write negative reviews, but this was honestly one of the worst dining experiences I’ve had in the area.

Right after we got home from dinner on Valentine’s Day, both my girlfriend and I started having stomach pain. By the next morning, we both woke up nauseous and felt like we were going to throw up. Whether it was bad preparation, poor food handling, or low ingredient quality, something clearly wasn’t right.

The portions were extremely small, yet the prices were at fine dining levels. Unfortunately, the quality did not come close to justifying that.

We ordered the meatball sliders, which were $17 for two sliders that were maybe 2 to 3 inches across. They didn’t even taste like meatballs. They tasted like dry meatloaf on a bun. Completely underwhelming for the price.

The truffle ravioli was $22 and came with five small pieces on the entire plate. Five. The pasta was undercooked and the sauce was basically tasteless. It felt rushed and poorly executed.

The truffle burger was just as disappointing. It was bland, dry, and had a tiny dab of sauce that was the only real flavor on the plate. If you’re going to market something as truffle, it should actually taste like it.

The bruschetta pieces were the size of my thumb, and the bread was toasted so dark brown that it actually hurt to bite into. On top of that, the honey was completely overdone. It overpowered everything else to the point where all you could taste was honey. There was no balance at all.

The only good thing we had were the truffle fries.

Valentine’s Day shouldn’t be an excuse to charge premium prices without delivering quality. Between the lack of flavor, tiny portions, and feeling sick afterward, this experience was incredibly disappointing. We won’t be coming back.

I have visited this restaurant in every season and it’s the most enjoyable when the sliding doors open in the back and let in the cool night air from the summer breezes.

The view from the back of the restaurant with the landscaping with the trees and the scenery is a tranquil dining experience.

There is an impressive wine and beer collection and a few nonalcoholic options. I would love if they added kombucha to the menu since I prefer nonalcoholic beverages. (cheers to our health!)

The winter menu from when I last visited did not have soup. I always crave a creamy tomato or vegetable soup when there is snow on the ground.

I enjoyed a beef Wellington and it was hearty, flavorful. The dish had a variety of textures which made the experience more enjoyable. The creamy potatoes paired well with the crunch of the pastry that surrounded the beef.

The menu has a lot of options between appetizers and entrees. I ordered a few different plates to share. It feels like a tapas plates to try a variety of different dishes.

Anytime I’m visiting New Hope, I reserve a table for lunch at Nektar. The staff is very accommodating, and the atmosphere is great. Weather permitting we prefer to sit outside along the railing.
Nektar is great for lunch, especially with three or more people, because it’s a tapas style menu. I always prefer to taste a little bit of everything when I’m at a restaurant. I love the concept of building your own charcuterie and pairing it with a wine flight!
I’m giving Nektar 4 stars for food, only because I do wish their servings were more generous. For example, we were a group of four relatively petite, middle-aged women, and we had to order two of a few tapas dishes, in order for us each to sample one. Also, and maybe this is just me being Italian and always going overboard with the charcuterie I prepare, but I feel like their meats and cheeses are quite small, especially for the price.
With that being said, I will always go back, I always enjoy myself when I’m there, I always leave satisfied, but I do end up spending a little bit more money than I would prefer, especially for lunch.

Food was amazing. Got the scallops with thai curry broth. Bread was great. View is beautiful. However I was sad that my server complained about me and their customers, I think they thought I was out of earshot or had left but I was in the bathroom and could hear. Either way, it soured my experience. Maybe next time I’ll order it for take out.

I found out about this wonderful place from the Philadelphia Mead Company’s website. This a perfect place for a few drink, good vibes and people watching before or after a leisurely walk in New Hope. As you would expect parking is a bit of a challenge, but do not let that stop you. Pleasant staff and a libations list that is varied and all most a book!
This will become a common stop after fall drives along the Delaware.
Food was not consumed due to eating earlier. Will definitely partake on our next stop.

Nektar is such a great spot. Was a great night, able to sit outside and enjoy some great food and wine. The tuna tacos and Wings by far were the favorite but everything was truly wonderful and Brittany was fantastic!

Go for the balcony ambiance!! Tapas are incredible. Had a good tequila cocktail but definitely more of a wine menu. We tried the ricotta tomato bruschetta and ceviche tostadas. Both great but dreaming of the ceviche! The sandwiches were just okay.

Nectar is quite the gem of a find. Huge assortment of wines and cocktails along with many small plate (quality) dishes. Very Mediterranean with the food choices with some unique items. The Petnat and Pinot Noir wine parings were great. Be sure to bring friends as the food is meant to be shared. Will definitely be back as there way to many great dishes yet to be experienced.
