Nektar is a wine, beer, and whiskey bar located in the heart of New Hope Pennsylvania. This intimate bar across from the Bucks County Playhouse provides a great place to enjoy a bite to eat before or after the show. In the winter, you’ll find Nektar to be a place to settle in with a glass of wine to appreciate with selections from our tapas menu.

My wife and I enjoyed a wonderful meal at Nektar as we were visiting the area on a mid August get-away. The menu is very creative and the kitchen delivers spectacular food. Each dish (small plates) we ordered were carefully prepared and nicely presented, and delicious. The ceviche taco was delightful. We didn’t do a wine flight, but thought the offerings of wines were nice. They have a limited but creative craft cocktail offering also. Save room for a dessert too!

Had an amazing date night at Nektar Wine Bar! From the charming outdoor dining area to the friendly bartenders who guided us through their impressive wine selection and a delicious charcuterie board. The ambiance and energy were just right. Although our outdoor table took a bit to be ready, the view by the creek and among the tree tops overlooking the historic Bucks County Playhouse was worth the wait. The small plates were a delightful surprise, exceeding my expectations with their incredible flavors. Will definitely be returning for more memorable evenings!

The food looked good, so we decided to come here for dinner. First, highly recommended to make reservations. We got lucky and got 2 seats at the bar. Had to wait, probably 5-7 mins for a staff member to realize we just sat down, though. Food portions are small too so be careful when ordering. But i can say the food was really good.

What a View! What great food! I happen to be there the day that all the windows were open. How special to feel the outdoors inside. The views are incredible as well as the food. Each and every dish we ordered had wonderful flavors and textures. Loved everything . Our server was so knowledgeable about the menu and full and fine selections of wine and craft beer. We chose a few delicious beers that were recommended. Beers were tasty and a good higher alcohol, which I enjoy from time to time.

This place is absolutely wonderful! Our host was amazing, and had great suggestions when asked. This is definitely a chill but fun place to go as friends or just for a nice, hip-feeling date. The scenery is stunning year round too. Needless to say, the food and wine flights were out of this world! Two thumbs up!

This location and spot is so cute! The service is completely 5 stars. They were beyond nice and attentive during our visit. Did some wine flights and a few small plates. The prosciutto wasn’t my favorite but it was still good on the charcuterie board. The short ribs were great. Husband had the crab pasta. Would be sure to come back again.

While vacationing in town, we wandered over to Nektar for dinner, and it was great. We started with a custom charcuterie board and added a few other plates such as the scallops and gumbo to the order. We had a few drinks as well but maybe too many because I can’t remember what we ordered LOL! My wife got a “shot” of tequila and it was a double or triple in a rocks glass so yeah, we had a good time It was a pleasant evening with nice views of the outdoor patio and river.

This place has delicious food! Small plates, lots of options! It was hard to decide from all the amazing options, but our server was super helpful and ver knowledgeable of the menu! We ended up getting the Bacon Marmalade Bruschetta, Smoked Duck and Cheese Charcuterie Board, Portobello Fries, and Triple Berry Pie! It was all delicious.

Had a great time with a few friends for an early dinner. Love the tapas style dishes go for the Korean fried wings and Tuna Tacos! The staff is pleasant and knowledgeable about all food items. They have a great whiskey menu along with flights which are a nice twist. Will definitely visit again!
