I got Katsu-Don and my wife had Shouyu Ramen here for lunch. The restaurant atmosphere was good. Cleaned and well organized. The staffs were friendly. However their foods were problems. Their ramen was not an authentic one. It was something different. The soup was completely out of specification for a ramen. The noodles were too soggy. They need more research about ramen if they sell ramen. In addition, Katsu-don was chicken Tonkatsu base and a little too sweet for Katsudon. Again it was not the authentic Japanese Katsudon. They should use Pork tonkatsu. Or they should say “Chicken Tonkatsu Donburi”.
There are many more great ramen restaurants in the neighborhood if look for a ramen.

I had a wonderful experience at this ramen restaurant. The broth was rich, well-balanced, and full of flavor without being too salty. The noodles were cooked perfectly—firm yet tender. The chashu pork was incredibly soft and flavorful, and the soft-boiled egg was cooked just right.

The restaurant itself is clean and comfortable, with a warm atmosphere. The staff were attentive and welcoming. Overall, it’s a high-quality ramen spot that’s absolutely worth visiting. Highly recommended!

Happy to see this new spot for noodles in Mountain Park. My wife and I tried the ramen and three appetizers. The gyoza tasted freshly made, filled with veggies and pork. The chicken karaage could have been crunchier, but it was very flavorful and moist on the inside. The tako yaki was excellent, best we’ve had in Portland, crunchy outside, creamy inside with plenty of octopus, and shaved bonito waving on top. My wife was not impressed with the ramen however, she thought the yuzu shoyu she ordered was too salty and the citrus flavor was barely detectable. However the cha-xiu was really, really well executed, as were the perfectly medium boiled tea eggs, so maybe next time we’ll give one of the other broths a try, because the tako and gyoza alone are worth a return trip.

Neko Ramen made a very good first impression. We each ordered the Tonkotsu Shio, one with pork and one with chicken. The meat was very tender and delicious, and all ingredients blended well enough to convince us to return to Neko Ramen soon. The people working there are very friendly, and service was excellent.

We ordered takeout and it was delish! We tried three different kinds of ramen and they were all good but we especially like the shoyu and spicy ramen. The gyoza were amazing as well. We are so happy to have this new ramen spot in the neighborhood!!

Babe wake up, new Ramen spot dropped! And they’re freaking awesome!! I loved the Spicy Tantanman, and the Yuzu Shoyu (to-go) was delicious too. Gyoza and some matcha milk tea were very tasty add-ons, and the staff were incredibly kind and efficient. I work not too far away and will probably be coming in regularly!

The tonkotsu shoyu was well-crafted! The egg was to die for. The pork was slightly dry, but nothing to worry about. Flavor wise, it was perfect.

Going on a trip to Japan soon and went here to try some ramen and practice eating with chopsticks. The cashier helped navigate the menu and taught me the proper Japanese eating technique with chopsticks once I told him I was there to learn. The food was delicious tried some of the ramen and the octopus balls. Would recommend!

The QR self order system was challenging for me and some at my table. I appreciate the intention for convenience and less wait staff stress and it was annoying. It also cheapened the experience. The shrimp tempura and the gyoza both looked to be from Trader Joe’s. The chicken appetizer was ridiculously fried and the ramen noodles were mediocre. Definitely WAYYY BETTER places on the East side. It’s a no for me. However the restaurant was packed which is misleading because you’re thinking you’re going to have good ramen.
