Really can’t say enough good things about this restaurant! It’s a quaint little place in Cypress but the food is a powerhouse.
We tried sooo many items of the menu. Pics attached of what I remembered to capture. Truly notable calamari, salmon sushi is divine and spicy edamame, we inhaled the spicy gyoza, and the cutest kids bento box! Service is top notch and super friendly!

I’m back a year later to state that this has been a great year of Neko Benton meals. Me and my partner came on the date we first had the opportunity to eat at neko. Our meal was the lunch special curry beef over rice and yaki soba shrimp and with cold weather we added miso soup. They have bottle drinks like cola, sprite, tea and ect. In addition they added a drink menu. I had a can drink and my partner had a match milk tea. The meal was great as we ate has great seasoning profiles and umami flavor profile. Also as you wait,eat, or rest they have books you can read. For entertainment you can try your luck with a claw machine. It’s great for hangouts, study groups, and those on lunch or break. The owner put great dedication into the food but are very considerate to their customers. We’ve enjoyed many meals with new people who have felt very welcomed and each came back to try more variety of the menu. I strong suggestion you stop by and try something off the menu. My favorite is anything in curry it’s but the curry beef over rice specifically with a added miso soup and my partner favorite pork katsu with curry with a added potato croquette.

Small space that only can fit 14 customers. Ordered the Thai milk tea that’s really good. Had rock shrimp, a bit hot and just okay dish. Spicy tan tan noodle is way too hot even I requested less spicy. Beef bento is more like stir fry onion beef, tastes fine. Neither too bad or good. All of those cost over $50 for two people, that’s kind of pricey.

Wonderful little spot, a little quick trip within the Cypress area that transporta you to Japan! I’ve been here twice now, and first time I tried the kiddos bento box for 10 bucks, solid deal for how much food you get!! This time I got the tonkotsu ramen, and man… this really hit the spot guys! Great spot for fresh Japanese cuisine, the atmosphere is a plus! Their takeout carries well, as they package everything very professionally!! Go on and give this place a try ✨

Our family was traveling and happened to make a wrong turn. We spotted this place and said that we would come back after our errands. It was New Year’s Day and not many places were open and wanted to start off the new year with new experiences. As we walked in, it is very welcoming. Once we came in it started picking up more business people were ordering out and dining in. They were also accommodating and even let us know that they were starting new sushi rolls. We were the very first customers to try it. They were delicious. We ordered the kids meal and realized we probably should’ve only gotten one with the amount of food that they give you. We found some awesome new drinks that had a marble in it. I ordered the chicken bento box with green tea(Hot). My husband ordered the udon noodles. We even got a special treat. They had just made these sushi sundaes so delicious. One was crab and one was salmon. From the outside they say that they are a veteran owned. It might be a little pricey, but it’s worth it going to a great owner. It truly shows their attention to customer service, food and keeping a good atmosphere. If you’re in the area, I’d recommend. We will definitely go back for the sushi sundaes want to try the skewers and brussels sprouts and can’t forget about the rolls. Man just thinking about it now I’m getting hungry again.

10-04-25 My wife and I stopped by for lunch on Saturday, after we found that out regular go to was closed for the day. The restaurant has a small dining area but if there’s room, you should have a seat and soak in the atmosphere. We both had the Beef Yakiniku Bento box which was delicious and you definitely get your money’s worth! The owner was friendly and attentive. We definitely plan on coming back and maybe trying a different dish, but that might be easier said than done! Keep up the excellent work and tasty food!

We appreciate the owners and love supporting this small business The attention to detail is amazing even for the take home Bento boxes! Super cute place. The space is quaint and small with a few tables for eating in. I would recommend taking to-go if you have a big group. Ordered online and pick up was super easy. Food is great and prices are reasonable. Will come back again!

This place never disappoints. Best spicy edamame I have ever had! Fire roasted, with the perfect blend of sea salt, lemon and what taste like garlic and tograshi in oil. Tried the spicy dumplings today, and they were also full of great flavor!

Tried this spot for the first time and loved it! We had the chicken katsu bento and the beef bento, and both were so good. The chicken was super crispy and juicy, and the beef had great flavor. The bentos also came with a nice mix of sides that made the meal feel complete.
On top of that, the staff was really friendly and welcoming, which made the whole experience even better. Definitely a place I’d come back to when I’m craving a good bento!

Such a cute spot! The atmosphere and staff is welcoming, and everything feels thoughtfully put together. Our kids loves the claw machine and all the cute decor. The food is flavorful, and comes in generous portions. Their boba is great and it’s easy to order to go food also. Definitely a neighborhood gem!
