listen, I remember this guy Giovanni when he had a place in Hackensack, his food was the best- that place was Cafe Manina – so he sold that business years ago. And all these years later. I’m in Clifton with my wife going to a wake of all things and we are early and we’re both starving looking for a place to get a pizza slice- I finally see this place. It looks good from the outside. I go in. It’s Giovanni. What are the chances and let me tell you – old school Italian dude – ridiculously good pizza he made it well done for me Just like I prefer. Forget about Dave Portnoy what does he know? I’m an Italian from jersey. the pizza came out incredible. I recommend Neils- I couldn’t believe I ran into Giovanni again through all these years . do me a favor if you go say Johnny Spit sent you here.

I honestly rarely write reviews but, I had ordered from Neil’s 2 times in last 2 days. I’m from NY and moved out here about 3 years ago. I have been struggling to find a good place to order pasta. First I ordered a pepperoni pie and a penne vodka with chicken cutlet. The pizza was good but, I’d say it was average compared to other pizzerias. The penne vodka tho, was fantastic! I have tried almost every pizzeria in a 20 mile radius and Neil’s vodka sauce is hands down the best I’ve had. The only reason I am even writing a review is because today I ordered the penne vodka with chicken cutlet and I also ordered the stuffed rigatoni. Not only is the pasta al dente but their sauce is great. The chicken cutlet was perfectly thin but, not dry at all! Even the bread they give you on the side is real deal Italian bread. If you’re looking for an entree or pasta dishes, this is my new go to spot!

Niels pizza spot has been to go to over the years to get pizza but lately the pizza has been ok used to be better, but the wings have really minimized. It was super extra small drums and wings. I’ve been to other places and they’ve been bigger but Neil’s you guys are great try to be like you guys use to be. Because these wings are horribly small and didn’t have good taste

Haven’t been here and years, and yesterday I came in and got a pepperoni slice along side with a chicken parm. The food was exquisite! absolutely delicious. Can’t wait to come back

Chicken cutlet sando with Mayo lettuce onion and tomato on a long roll is actually life changing from this place. They genuinely care about the quality of their fryer oil to change it frequently and you can actually tell it in the quality of the cutlet!! I love y’all for real!

Always had a great experience eating and ordering from Neil’s. Great pizza, salads and subs for a great price. Cannot go wrong with anything on the menu here.
Personally I love the chicken parm subs. Great bang for your buck!
Highly suggest stopping in or putting in an order if you’re in the area.

Located right off of Main Avenue in Clifton, this unassuming pizza spot, disguised as a residential home, offers New York style pizza, appetizers and entrees.
Super fast service in house, staff was honestly not friendly but I’m there for the pie baby.
Pizza was really cheesy and had a solid crunch with every bite. Overvall, a pretty decent slice, this place is good in a pinch.

I called to order lunch for delivery and it was 11:00 a.m. and boy the guy who answered the phone was very nasty!!! I asked him a question and he said “do you want to place your order” I’M BUSY!. When you first open up for the day you are tooo busy to be nice to a patron and answer their question? To me that is unprofessional.

I don’t know what happened to the quality of ingredients. We used to love their pizza, and now it has a different taste. We ordered a pie yesterday, the crust was undercooked, the sauce was bland, and the cheese had a sour taste to it, which could be the reason I got sick for 3 hours last night. Unfortunately we will not be ordering here anymore. It’s a shame because they really used to be so good.
