This spot on Vista Oeste NW in Albuquerque is an absolute gem for anyone craving hearty, flavorful bar food with a fun, laid-back vibe. My friends and I stumbled upon it during a recent night out, and it quickly became our new go-to hangout. The atmosphere is spot on – cozy wooden tables, lively entertainment without any cover charge, and a welcoming crowd that makes you feel like a regular from the moment you walk in. The service was top-notch too; our server was super attentive, recommending drinks and checking in just the right amount without hovering.
But let’s talk about the food – holy cow, it’s next-level delicious! We kicked things off with their massive club sandwich platter, which came sliced into perfect quarters and skewered for easy sharing. Layers of juicy turkey, ham, crispy bacon, fresh avocado, ripe tomatoes, lettuce, and melty cheese all grilled to perfection on toasted bread. It was the ultimate comfort food, bursting with flavor in every bite, and paired amazingly with a side of golden, crunchy tater tots that were seasoned just right. No skimping on portions here – it was enough to satisfy our whole group!
Next up, we dove into their carne asada tostadas (or tacos, depending on how you order ’em), and wow, what a flavor explosion. Crispy flat tortillas topped with tender, seasoned beef, diced onions, fresh tomatoes, cilantro, and a creamy spread underneath – they nailed that authentic street-food vibe with a New Mexico twist. We got the fish n chips and did not like the flavor. It’s not something we recommend. Also got the nachos, they were ok. Some cheese was not melted in the middle.

Had an early dinner here and the service was great. The place has a really nice ambiance, with plenty of seating and lots of TVs for watching games. It is a sports bar, so it can get a little loud.
We started with the small nachos. They were good, but a bit skimpy on toppings and sauce. The drink selection was solid and reasonably priced. I ordered the Big B sandwich and it was excellent. They make their own house BBQ sauce, it’s sweet and vinegary, and definitely different, but in a good way. My wife had the chicken roll-up. It was pretty small, but still tasty.
Food came out hot and quickly, and overall prices were in line with what you’d expect. The only downside was the added fees. They tack on an extra 4% credit card fee, which felt excessive, and I was also charged for a small extra side of BBQ sauce.
Even with that, we’d come back again but bring cash.

The food looks good, but I just wasn’t a fan. As a dining experience, I felt that the bacon on the BLAT should’ve been crispy. No one in my party seemed to enjoy the food, and for the price I’d expect more. Great service, though!

Fourth time here in the last three months. Quite frankly, the wife and I debated for 5 minutes if they deserved another chance after the first three visits due to poor food quality. We decided it was worth another chance simply due to it’s proximity to our house and with Bosque closed there is limited options. This time around we tried the Brussel hustle appetizer, grilled Buffalo chicken wrap and club sandwich. The Brussel sprouts themselves were decent but the bacon was lacking and the sauce had an unappealing brown color, looking like gravy. The buffalo chicken wrap on first sight was a disappointment due to the size. Although due to finding a hard piece of cartilage or bone or tooth hurting chicken in my first bite the size was no longer a concern. The server checked with the manager and they were nice enough not to charge me for taking the one bite and sending it back. The club was acceptable per my wife. Really wanted to Like this place due to the location and having a pool table but I struggle to think I’ll eat here again. Maybe a beer and some pool, maybe.

About 100 taps including one of my favorite. 1554 by Belgium [fat tire] named for the recipe found in a basement from 1554. This is the beer the Celts drank. Chris the bartender does a great job pouring. Very professional. For food I had Brussels with feta and balsamic. Great flavor. This place has excellent food! I ordered the Hawaiian chicken breast. I was actually surprised at how good this was. The portion was huge. My mom had a Swiss hamburger with onion rings. The onion rings were nice and crunchy.
A great selection of drinks and the service was fantastic! I will definitely be going back.

I really wanted to give it five stars, but they had some short comings. Overall food i thought was great. I ordered the hangover and Tatter tots loaded. Both tasted great. Wife had fish and chips and the batter on the fish was very light and tasted amazing. I did order a flight of beers because I wanted to try all their cider beers and i was not disappointed. (Of course they only had 5 of the 8 listed on the menu) But besides that I still tried other beers into the mix. The one down side for the food was the big knotted chunk of hair in my nieces hamburger. They did take it back right away an remake it. They also took it off my ticket. So I think they did the right thing, but… it wasn’t just a small hair which we all know can happen, it was a big knotted junk of hair. Our server was very nice and was great taking our order, she seemed to be less attentive to us. (Maybe I am used to being checked on more) They even split my parents plate so they each didn’t have to share of one plate which I thought was very nice of them to do this. I think overall I would still recommend coming here and trying the food out. Next time I am back here i will probably come back again.

Their street tacos are really good, with unique flavors and their taco salsa’s will burn your butt, but leave you feeling that dopamine rush of flavor that you’d expect from a street taco salsa.
Their club sandwiches live rent free on my top-5 shelf of club sandwiches, just don’t expect 3-levels of depth in this sandwich, it’s a 2-breaded fully loaded crunch bomb between the toast and the bacon. Always ask for fresh bacon.
Their staff has always been friendly and quick with service and attentive.
They have a new pool table area that you can rent out and lounge in a private room, it’s rarely utilized so chances are you can rent it for yourself.

Their Google photos look nothing like their food in person. More specifically their wings. Order a 6 piece wing and you will start to question your life’s choices. You will feel both guilty and buyers remorse for eating the legs of a baby chicklet or something tiny that resembles a micro chicken strip with bones. Then to justify your purchase you decide to go to Wing Stop to order actual Wings to satiate your craving.
Their Chips and Queso used to be quality with a unique recipe for the queso, now it’s like they’ve discovered Velveta from Walmart, and yesterday’s batch of Chips.
Their alcohol selection has diminished with time, while prices have gone up. Apparently only the strongest beers have survived their cut backs. If you’re looking for all those local favorites brews that you’re used to, chances are they no longer have it on their menu, but there’s still some of the usual national beers on tap that you’d expect.
Finally they used to have TVs covering every angle of the establishment, allowing spectators to enjoy their favorite sports game, it seems that they have removed some of their TVs and if you’re sitting in a booth you might want to pack your monocle as the TV is mounted too far and too high for comfort.

My wife and I were consistent regulars, and looked forward to grabbing some dinner and a drink while enjoying each other’s company. Lately, Neighbors has not even been a consideration. I truly hope to see some new updates to their menu, and perhaps different vendors for their chicken. I’m not a snob, I’ll eat the GMOd wings, just put some meat on those bones you know.

1st time here. Ordered the posole. Tasted great. Our waiter Joseph was great. Talked to us about the upcoming events, told us about the live music on the last Saturday of the month. UFC fights are shown here, NFL games, etc. 100 beers on tap. Sheesh, come check it out. Not noisy either well not when I was there.
