Good food and location. Two of us got the prime dinner Friday night special. Service wasn’t the best and there were a lot of dirty tables. But once we got our drinks, the service picked up. Would recommend if you want to eat at The Star and want to be nearby the other events in the area/staying at the Omni since it’s in the lobby area connected to the hotel.

The Steak Frites is absolutely amazing! The steak was tender, flavorful and cooked perfectly medium. The sauces are out of this world! I stuck with the horseradish sauce, but the voodoo sauce is also fantastic. I was impressed with the bourbon selection too. To be fair, they didn’t have any of the hard to find ones, but they had some that most high end restaurants don’t have. Eagle Rare, Blanton’s, Russel’s Reserve and my go to Buffalo Trace. Highly recommend for an easy night out with a flair of high class.

One may assume that the restaurant located within the Omni Frisco Hotel is an easy pass, but they would be mistaken. This restaurant has consistently delivered great food, service, and the atmosphere is wonderful. The dining room is well decorated and feels casual during the day, and takes on a more sophisticated and intimate ambiance during the night. The burgers and steaks are always perfectly cooked, and the fries are dangerously good. The breakfast menu is also very solid and has a good variety. Overall I highly recommend this spot in the star!

We came in for both dinner and breakfast and both were amazing! Last night we had the appetizer nachos with grilled chicken-Amazing! For our entrees we had the Chicken Fried Steak, Scallops, Tenderloin, and BBQ Shrimp. We had no complaints. Id prefer to change the dressing on the side of Argula salad.
For breakfast we had the Sunrise Omlette and the Get Up and Go with a side of avocado. It was also and amazing breakfast. The waiters were both very pleasant. We will definitely return!

I’d never have thought to dine at a hotel restaurant until a date took me here. The food is fantastic! Do not skip the Butcher’s Meatballs appetizer. Location is at the Star adjacent to the Cowboy’s headquarters and they have valet parking. Omni’s lobby is very nice as well. Great date spot.

Visited NS for the first time on a Saturday around noon, the place was pretty empty. My guest and I were seated right away and greeted just as fast by our server. Drinks and food came out fast. I noticed they also have an outside patio. NS has Cute rustic vibes, a nice bar and all around chill atmosphere. The food was satisfactory and the drinks were good. Service was also great! I would definitely visit again. Just a tip, you can valet at the Omni, and the restaurant will comp the ticket.

Service was excellent overall. The food was hit or miss. The chicken sandwich and burger were both very good, and the fried asparagus really stood out. On the downside, the French fries were overcooked and almost burnt, the meatballs were dry and tough to cut, and the grilled chicken was small and forgettable.

Food was okay. Drinks good but nothing remarkable. Service was lacking. Waited ten minutes for host to even appear for seating (for an Open Table reservation). Appetizer did not show up before the meal, so we canceled it. Second drink did not show up during the time we were eating, so we canceled it. My wife thought she was substituting a side, but it was an upcharge. Grits, and she did not like them. The server did offer to remove them, but we were done at that point. We will not be coming back.
