Super unique location. Love the interior and the reel to reel is an awesome touch. Great service and drinks.

We were seated and given our drinks about 10 minutes later. After that, we waited over 30 minutes without being properly checked on or served. No one came to take our order, refill drinks, or update us. Eventually, we had no choice but to get our food to go.
The General Manager, Drew, did come over, apologized, and took full accountability for the situation, which I truly appreciated. He was professional and handled it the right way.
However, our server spent a lot of time sitting and talking with about six friends, laughing and chatting, instead of focusing on her tables. Yes, she was taking orders at times, but it should not take 6+ minutes of talking to do that. There should be less talking and more working so guests feel valued.
Even after the GM addressed the issue with her, she continued to ignore our table and our party. While other guests were leaving, she hugged all six of her friends and still moved very slowly, showing little urgency.
This experience was disappointing, especially because the manager handled it well. Better staff awareness and professionalism would really improve the customer experience.
On a positive note, the general manager did provide a discount and a token of appreciation for the for my inconvenience. Thanks To GM Drew!!!!

Visited this place for my birthday and was lucky enough to get a table after a few minutes of waiting! From the outside to the inside and even the bathroom you are simply transported to surgery era! Amazing atmosphere and good service. Had the signature hamburger with some fries! The speakeasy can not be described… you have to experience it for yourself…

The whole team made this place really stand out. From the bartenders to the cooks bringing out the food. The vibe is casual but classic. The portions were perfect. Drink prices were fair. The food was plated by someone who cares. Cannot recommend this place enough.

At 6pm on a Friday this place was packed but we didn’t wait long. Got an awesome table and people watched. Mostly younger attractive crowd but whatever. Service was really good, super friendly.
Food choices were tops! Blooming onion, steak tartare, wedge salad, short ribs and sausage platter all hit just right. Plus amazing cocktails and they have several Russian River Brewery bottles including my beloved, Pliney the Elder.
Great place, cool vibes, decent prices, and great portions will have us coming back often.

Fantastic time here, had the pleasure of trying Pliny the Younger which is a huge win. Also had the Brussels sprouts which were delicious, a great steak frites plate, delicious burger, and fantastic toffee dessert. Vibes were immaculate. Prices are some of the best around for what is offered.

great neighborhood spot, hence the name! Our server was so nice. We changed our mind about a drink choice at the last moment and he gave us both, saying we should at least try the original one. Super attentive and without asking, gave us great recommendations for food options in the area for our time in SD. HIGHLY RECOMMEND! Drinks and food were amazing too!

This pub is located in the Gaslamp. It holds two speakeasies: Young blood and Noble Experiment. They both are super cute but Noble Experiment is a lot smaller. The food here was AMAZING! It is a bit costly but totally worth it.
We ordered old fashions, smash burger, short ribs, pierogies, and blooming onions. The pierogies and onions are definitely shareable—very huge portions!
Everything was stellar and so was the service! Loved it!
