Neighbor Lady Public House

  4.5 – 439 reviews   • Bar

Social Profile:

Informal neighborhood bar/restaurant/brunch spot in Midtown Square in Seattle’s Central district. Do not expect a full service dining experience where you only speak to your server all evening. *Do* expect a friendly place with good food and the opportunity to meet people as you order from the bar.

Decorated with bordello-style wallpaper, this snug hangout serves pub fare with vegetarian options.

We absolutely love Neighbor Lady and constantly recommend it to our friends. There is both plenty of inside seating and outside seating in the courtyard. The courtyard gets plenty of sun and is protected from the wind on cooler days. The whole place is decorated so well, really giving the classy pub vibe. While it might fit the bill as a lovely pub, we actually go for the food. All of it is fantastic and they offer specials to switch it up. The staff are amazing and make the whole place welcoming and a great experience every time. We love it so much that we try to go every weekend.

A very fun and local establishment that serves fairly priced, generous, and very good food. The staff were courteous, quick, and friendly. The place had a very nice vibe about it. A good spot to chill, have a beer, and relax after work.

As a bar it seems great as a restaurant I don’t like that you’re standing up to pre pay for dinner and required to tip before you get your food or served. Has a hipster vibe to it. Drinks are on the pricier side in my opinion. Other than that enjoyed my overall experience. Don’t sleep on prime rib Sundays!

The hospitality here was unmatched. We stumbled on it our first day in Seattle and ended up going back every day we were there!! The chicken sandwich is a must have, and I also got to try the chicken fried steak but I am confident you will not be let down by anything on their menu. Great atmosphere inside and outside. Can’t wait to go back.

this review is only for the sunday prime rib special. So 25 bucks for 16+ oz cut of prime rib sounds too good to pass up. me and three other hungry ‘chads’ came in for a closer look. a big salad, baked potato is also included. well, don’t get too excited folks, you basically get what you pay for… its huge and filling, but the cut is below prime, cooked inconsistently, and requires serious elbow grease to cut through. its a long chew before swallowing. some of us thought it was a fair deal, but I personally thought, even for 25bucks, no bueno, pass. i saved most of mine to donate to a four legged friend. i think this place is a chill, casual, watering hole… go for that, pass on the prime ribs.

Their food is tasty and well priced.
I ordered a fried chicken sandwich and my wife ordered an Earth burger.

Neighbor Lady’s fried chicken sandwich is the largest chicken sandwich you will ever eat. It is almost impossible to finish, but too delicious not to. Get a side salad. 5 stars.

Neighbor Lady Public House was a nice spot for a quick drink on a Thursday afternoon. Didn’t have any food, but service was exceptional at the bar and beer cold.

Atmosphere is fantastic! I wish they had more beer options, their selection right now is pretty limited.

The lunch specials are SO good though, the vegetarian burger is the best in the neighborhood, not to mention also a good deal.

Great local spot in a cute Central District inner courtyard. A no-frills tavern with good prices, great service, and even better food.

I even misread one of the menu items, thinking it came with potatoes on the side and they brought me out an order on the house. Deeply appreciated, especially because it was my mistake, not theirs.

Weekend brunch offers bottomless coffee and they host trivia on Mondays that I will definitely return for!
