Delicious lunch special and very affordable. There was no wait to get a seat, but to get my food was a bit of a wait. And one of my dishes never came. But I’m going to come back and see if this was unusual service. Otherwise there is indoor and outdoor seating available. A few big screen TVs to watch sports and a nice variety of drinks available.

Overpriced and not authentic Japanese food. Came here on a Monday night. There were only two servers tending to all the customers. It was hard to get their attention. Needless to say, I waited quite some time to place my order. Then when the food came, I was quite disappointed. Rice on the sushi roll was falling apart. There was very little salmon on the salmon avocado roll. Everything was very very expensive. It was only $1-2 off each roll during happy hour. If you typically pay around $50-60 for sushi dinner you should just go to sushi ota.

Absolutely phenomenal sushi! Every bite was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The chefs clearly take pride in their craft—each roll was like a work of art. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting, and the staff were incredibly friendly and attentive. I highly recommend trying the chef’s special rolls—you won’t be disappointed. Easily one of the best sushi spots I’ve been to. Can’t wait to come back!

I visited with my girlfriend and younger cousin who were craving some sushi. This place was great. The service was friendly and attentive. The rolls that we had were great. The dynamite roll is especially good. Prices were very reasonable. The desserts were over the top. Unexpectedly good presentation and really made for a fun meal. We will definitely come back when we are in San Diego again.

We enjoy it because the staff has been super friendly and just provide a pleasant experience. The sashimi is fantastic, fresh and vibrant. The only complain is the consistency of the flavor of the rolls and handrolls. The rolls have great descriptions but are just missing something to make the wow factor. They waygu handrolls are always on the special board but they taste slightly different each time which is a bummer. Great sake options.

My experience on this restaurant was pretty good, we were looking for sushi and decided to go here.
We enter the restaurant around 7:45 pm and didn’t know they were closing at 8:00 pm, most restaurants will let you know they are about to close but the host and sever were ready, friendly and attentive.
We order sushi, spice chicken and it was really delicious, it was around 50 degrees outside and the outside tables were with heaters so I will be pleasant enough to sit outside.
You can watch sports on the screens and if wanted they have a bar.
We recommend this restaurant for the service, food and atmosphere.

Wow!! They have the BEST happy hour! See picture attached! I had the garlic edamame, from the nigiri option I had salmon and crunchy roll from the happy hour menu. I decided to try their house salad, it was bigger than expected. The house dressing has ginger and it was fresh and delicious. Nice and light option to start off with. The nigiri salmon was delicious and fresh great portion as well for $6.50! Wow!
I added the lemon & cilantro roll and OMG it was my favorite out of everything!! I highly recommend it.

Very good place, delicious food and amazing atmosphere. Their wagyu nigiri and Udon is quite enjoyable. I actually believe their Udon to be one of the best I’ve had as of recent, their sushi is what you expect from a sushi spot but their wagyu sushi is very juicy and savory and pleasantly unique texture for those new to it. Their drinks are great and this restaurant is home to a very crisp Sapporo which I can enjoyed greatly.

Was staying at the nearby hotel, when I stopped by. I was so so impressed with the miso soup, some of the best miso soup I’ve had in a long time. I really enjoyed my rolls, the lemon cilantro roll was so yummy, and I love the simplicity of basic rolls like the salmon avocado roll I tried. Everything tastes fresh, and the service was great.
