The good – the beef ribs were amazing. Customer service while ordering was amazing. The bad- The older lady, who is the owner (I believe), made us feel very unwelcome, we traveled from BR for her to watch us and slam chairs around us. She killed the happy vibes,which is sad because I was excited to taste the food . The chicken sandwich was extremely soggy, and we could see the lamp burn on top. I will try a different location. Hopefully, she’s only at that one location

I paid $40 for a slap of beef ribs meal with two sides. First I asked for green beans and potatoe salad. I received green beans and baked beans. I said ok not what I asked for but I can still eat this. Opened the box of ribs to find them extremely burnt smothered in BBQ sauce. I called merely to explain my experience and just wanted an apology when suddenly the young man that answered the phone hung up in my face. So I get in my car and drive up there to confront him. He stated yes I hung up in your face and yelled for his cousin to come get me.i showed the cousin the burnt ribs which I still had half of it and explained he needs to coach that guy on customer service. He kept getting smart. I said that’s how stuff pops off in Memphis. I told them to keep the money and don’t want the food Neverrrrrrr will I return. I took pictures of the ribs. This was the location on Winchester and German Town rd.

From service to food, this place was top notch. We were greeted by a very friendly and knowledgeable staff who helped us figure out our order. The beef ribs were delicious and I had no idea I could eat as much of it as I did! The hot link had just the right spice and texture. The green beans are some of the best I have ever tasted and I grew up in the south, so I have had my fair share of beans. Neely’s is a true gem of Memphis and shouldn’t be missed.

I’m disappointed in the service and the person who took my order. You gave me someone else order, because they didn’t pick up there 25 wings, you served those hard and dried up wings to me. A good paying customer. Just because things and times have changed. I still should be accorded better service and food. But me and my family members got 25 unfit wings and sides. (Hard and Dried Out and Up). As they say you have been Canceled!! A Total Waste Of My Money And Time. DISAPPOINTED IN You Because You Know Better. Do Better For The Other Customer. I purchased 2 rib tip dinners, which was tough as leather. I had an experience with their food before the pandemic, it was not good, so I decided to give them another chance. That was it, never again. I will be getting my BBQ somewhere else, this was at the Winchester location.

We stopped here from word of mouth from other friends. This is definitely a must go to place. Ken and May made us feel at home & took the time to visit. The smoked spaghetti was out of this world & the smoked greens was like nothing I have ever tasted. Definitely will come back several times. May even have to make a special trip from Little Rock to eat here.

Passing thru Memphis and had to try some of some of the regions renowned BBQ. Coming from central Texas, not usually too impressed with BBQ from outside our borders but Neely’s was a tremendous surprise! Wife had pulled pork sandwich and I had the pork ribs. Smoked to perfection and falling off the bone! Been to many BBQ competitions and Nellys is right there with Franklins & Salt Lick in Austin. Cherry on top is their baked beans…ono! Extremely friendly folks and I highly recommend this place!
