New to the area, I accidentally went there looking for the crawfish restaurant, so the next day I decided to go eat there. A waste of my hard earned money. I ordered Salt and Pepper chicken and couldn’t taste either salt or pepper it was so bland and hard. They had so much red pepper flakes was absolutely disgusting. They even had red pepper flakes on the fries and the fried okra. I was there first but was the last one there waited over 30 minutes. I think she forgot my order I heard the cashier asked her about the chicken order. A real clean place when you walk in. One problem I had was what I chose rang up higher in the register than price posted… no problem they were out of that anyhow… Ended up with a 3 piece fillet basket with fries and red beans and rice. Meal was all good and plentiful. Food did not take that long to come out and the server was very helpful. Now my other complaint… they only have bottled drinks… no fresh sweat or unsweat tea and no fountain drinks. But it is what it is.

So me and my bff had looked forward to trying this place after seeing the ad and viewing pics on Facebook. We braved torrential rain for this experience. Anyway we get there and some customers were talking about how good it is a “best kept secret.” So we order she gets grilled fish I order the 10 piece wings which they only had 8 so I sub for 2 chicken strips. An absolutely obnoxious lady comes in not sure if she’s the owner or just the manager. So the food comes out my wings are completely overcooked but the sides were delicious so my friend tells them about it she comes to the table explaining it takes 20 minutes to cook chicken because it’s on the bone. (NO IT DOES NOT) She offered tenders to replace it but pretty sure would’ve been the same issue as the 2 I had were overcooked as well. My bff’s fish was overcooked too and the onions and bell pepper were burned. The food was bad but this arrogant lady was even worse what she didn’t know is my friend has been in the food industry over 20 years while she was talking to us like we were stupid. The counter help were really nice and guy was funny but that bad apple spoiled the bunch she finally offers gift cards after my friend tells her how terrible it was and that she needs to learn the 10 points of customer service but there was no need because we definitely won’t be going back.
